dont play ranger. Play dhan,templar, dk, def vit, G str,priest, warlock....

played most of them, dhan is still fun but i prefare ranger tho i know they arent as strong as say templars or vit dekans but they are fun to play

what would be better Feather+12 or UPG RA ring +6 ?

If you use the upg ring it has to be +18 even a feather +0 is better otherwise.

Why that?, the basic stats are 5% pdf/mdf Ranged and 3 crit per ring times 4 thats already 20% RA/PDF/MDF and 12% crit. i dont know the stats (agi/dex/vit) at for example +6 or +12 but there has to be a break even point between feathers and those rings, specially considdering they give % increase in multiple stats. The only thing i can imagine is that feathers give flat RA while those rings give inflated RA which will do reduced damaged compared to the flat one but i have no clue how to mathematically compare them to decide what + brings you at the break even point lol

Its a secret haha but ill be honest and say i don't have anything +18. Oh and with lvl 6 emp and lvl 6 ctb, i only managed to get -17k RA ='(

With some descend gear I managed to get to -8,4k ranged (full 7's buffs, 20% alm scroll, 30% ranged lvl 7 emp) even by still using dex twins xD reaching -30k on self buffs and doing descend dmg, it's true abt the true dmg on feaths and the dex added ranged does less dmg as "atk" added dmg. Yet I have to try +18 upg rings and see if I deal more dmg with them or with +1x feaths. Sure those upg rings will add more dex and more ranged atk but the dmg they deal might differ alot. (tested with dex twins and +6 and +10 feath, gave same amount of ranged but dealt more dmg with the feaths than with the dex twins) So it's up to the % ra and % crit added on the upg rings to be sure that they're better than +12 feaths.

PS: Managed to get over 6k dex without even having a walter +6/7 or trophys and so
