Because you dont understand anything about dhans.


Predator has these key things:

Heal trap to make lvling easier
A ruin trap to drop 50% pdef
OP mask for extra stats
and a cookie cutter 50% chance aoe on auto attack to make killing mobs easier.

2 of the 4 things rely on this stupid trap that dies in 1 hit. Not so good unless you are killing mobs.

But you might be saying what about the buff so lets look at that.
15% extra crit rate from the new katar mastery (cool but you dont have storm assault)
100% chance to aoe from 50% (this is actually not bad)
1000% agility damage aoe nuke (this will help kill the mobs maybe?)
PS getting nerfed (shoulda made this work on all mobs srsly)
and seal gets nerfed for both avenger predator.


Now lets look at avenger
you get:
Order swing and stone skin built into 1 skill (Storm assault)
A pull paralyze skill (death call)
Mind exchange
Suicide
And finally 70% dd penetration on top of the fact that crits ignore pdef.

Also avenger is getting the super katar mastery just no 15% crit rate increase.




Now lets get to the question which is str or agi predator.

Predators are still only good for killing mobs so does it really matter? before buff go str after buff go agi. Or you can go the most efficient method and use a templar to lvl up and then race change to dhan job change to predator after you are all transcended up and lvled up.

after patch prolly gonna have it's own str buffs tho but meh I've never liked preds, reason it's one of the only classes I don't play/played. No CC and no real burst either...

quickness getting changed to a str buff but since I said before patch nowhere! at least its better than praying for a crit until the update comes :P

After Balance Patch
Agi: Avoid 60%, Deadly Blow 40% + 2000% Crit damage boost from Agi, Katar Mastery will add 30% damage From Agi
Str: Quickness 60% Str, Katar Mastery will boost 70% Katars damage and add 30% damage From Agi

Seems Agi is getting a little bit more love than Str and that is not talking about Royal Mask that is 20% all stats.
At least I am changing my Pred to Agi cause that is how it was in the beginning.
