templars and noirs can resist debuffs thus being superior in war. To be a pro guard is just as expensive as a templar because you will need 2 UPG weapons with PRO DD instead of 1

Can you even buy noirs stuff from the EM

You can buy noir/rumir armor in EM and any ancient weapon can be transmuted (if you are lucky and don't mind locking it to the character forever)
There is nothing noble about being superior to others. True nobility is gained by becoming superior to one's former self.

Actually, to be a pro guard, you would need more than that - an actual offensive weapon for instance.. oh and a tightly sealed inventory bag, so you don't drop your precious thingies.
That aside, only one dagger would be required.

Suggesting a player who doesn't have any upgrades to buy 2 upgrades is rediculous already, to buy even more just to switch is just insane lol. And with dualwielding just 2 of them and having 9x dd you can already be pretty good/pro I can assure you. No matter how many weapons you buy, fact remains the same you get debuffed and you're f*cked so better than that you're not gonna get.

    Good, yes. Pro? Not exactly.
The suggestion was not given to anyone who wants to make a guard, but to those who want to make a pro guard.

That aside, it is indeed ridiculous one would need those weapons to begin with. I can only wholeheartedly agree.

Having said that, I strongly disagree on the whole "debuff" problem. Debuffing has been a skill in the game since the start and every class who ever needed buffs of any kind is vulnerable to that skill. It's annoying, yes - but it has never stopped any actual "pro" player. Much unlike the dekan class, who was once unable to re-cast evolve after having it debuffed (sepa was supposed to be a counter for that, but lol).

People are too used to pressing one or two buttons now that they think any class needing more than those two buttons is a failure.
