Let's say the refinement success rate is 30%. When they say that they have given you a 40% boost, your success rate has NOT gone from 30% to 70%. This just means that your 40% chance of success has been boosted BY 40%. It has been given a multiplier of 1.4xOriginally Posted by Demonic6000

It's like how a restaurant can lie to you about a sandwitch-"Made with 100% chicken" It WAS made with 100% chicken, as in 50% of the chicken used was 100% real, the other 50% was fake chicken... but some of it was still real, though! So technically it "was made with 100% real chicken".
