Banned for buying and selling character

Wasn't it always a common way to make rps? I knew people who camped EM all the time for cheap trades - to buy and resell them again.

It was....untill GM's got angry over people starting to make more rps using exchange market rather than buying with $. So now they simply ban anyone who buy stuff cheap and sell it at higher price ^^

buying low and selling high is for noop... :-/ the real tactic is to gain monopoly - to have itams which nobody else is selling at the moment and then you can set the price to whatever you want. i did that in conquer online long ago but it ruins economy and it's not fair so i'm not scammer anymore

Buying low and selling high is and has never been a prohibited form of merchandising. Everyone jumping this bandwagon, is missing the train to Neverland.

Sniping, however, is not allowed. Believe it or not, but very few people that get banned are "innocent". You know what, why don't you send a ticket and let us know the actual reason of your ban.
I mean, actual.

Since when that buying a character on Em leggally and
selling is legally will cause you to be banned?

There's a couple ways that will get you banned.

1. Logging into someones acct and putting their chars up on EM cheap, then logging your own to buy them - in effect stealing that person's character. This will get you banned it it is reported and investigated.

2. More often people want to move characters from one account to an alt account. EM snipers camp EM and wait to see chars go up relly cheap and snatch them before their real owners get a chance to pick it up on their alt acct. If this happens and gets reported, the GMs will look at the transaction log and see you sniping them. More often than not you will get a ban if they feel the original person was cheated by you.

So while buying and selling characters on EM is legal, it is illegal to do it with the intention of cheating another player for your own profit.

Cheated? That is pretty ridiculous. Who cares if someone sits watching EM all day and buys something that was placed there for sale (unless he's doing it with a bot and sends 1000 requests per sec slowing down the server of course)? EM is meant for buying and selling items, there is no official transfer function. If you want to transfer a character don't be cheapass and put a high price instead of "really cheap", you still get 90% back or 81 if you want it back on the original acc.

So if i log on EM and see a lvl 115+ char for 300 rp ( got registred 5 to 10 minutes ago )

and i buy it cause of the basic reason that it is cheap, I HAVE TO FEAR TO GET BANNED? These GM's are broken in half lol, There is no way the Gm's can prove if a person is really sniping on em unless the person buys the char like 1 to 4 min after it has been put up, ( with logs of boths accounts, IP's etc ) Otherwise its just a BS excuse cause they want someone who wanna transfer their alts to another account to put it up for a higher amount of rp so that PlayWith can take away a higher profit in % of the transfer,

Even if people would sit and snipe EM 24/7 get cheap prizes on items and character this is a PART of logic economics, u gonna ban someone who buys something on ebay 3 mins after they see it cause it was waaay below average price?,

nah nah, GG WP GM's for making EM an even bigger pile of trash than it already is with the stupid rp/ecash converter and the tax to try to stop people from making more of their rp from the game than actually dropping 500$ a month on the game,
