Getting People to play rohan again

all of the above is 100% wrong.

1: Pre epics costed more than epics did. The only difference is it came from other players and yngay ****ing you on the pres luck. I remember selling UNFORGED PARTS for upwards of 12-14k rps. Get a 14% melee silver wing rod? you hit the jackpot that was 18k rps on syrephis.

2: Game has always been pay to win. All depends on your definition of winning. Back then everyone had ****ty stats and died fast so obviously you had somewhat of a chance to kill a better player. But the definition of better is still there and the guy with the highest number is the best so yeah game has always been pay to win.


Epics did make the game fun I wish there was a way to have epic stats AND make it so the average joe or average complainer as I call them can earn one ohwait I suggested that 64654354 times yngay werent listening.

I'll simplify, since you missed it... The point is that before epics, everyone could get everything. You could be lvl99 with all the goodies and have spent no money at all. Simple enough for you?

That's how a real Free-To-Play game should work, and that's why there are thousands of others MMO's that aren't 1/10 of what Rohan is in terms of quality and they still have more players then Rohan.

Not everyone is rich, or works, or has the interest in spending money on games, but those who don't are usually the ones who make the game run... The average player makes games exist! It's that simple!

But, by all means, you are right, because you are now the proud owner of a 10.000$ worth pixel image! Good job!

You could still get 23k rps to buy an epic after they came out. This game is still 100% free to play you either pay with time or money and being "lvl 99 with all the goodies" without spending any money is the same as "being lvl 99 with all the goodies" and not wasting 6 months grinding away.

Nah! I'd rather pay with money simply because I have it but I don't have to farm all day. But seriously speaking, I couldn't agree more of what sunnyangel said. It's just some players don't have the patience farming stuff when in fact they don't have the money to buy IM stuff, oh well Rohan has never been free to play for lazy people. Stop complaining if you don't have the money to make your life simpler. Like what I always hear "money is the king," but the game is fairly free to play. Just like what this poster said you either pay with your time or money, so deal with it

Nah! I'd rather pay with money simply because I have it but I don't have to farm all day. But seriously speaking, I couldn't agree more of what sunnyangel said. It's just some players don't have the patience farming stuff when in fact they don't have the money to buy IM stuff, oh well Rohan has never been free to play for lazy people. I literally survived in rohan for 6 and 1/2 years off just the EM. Countless hours farming stupid **** making chump change, using big5 glitch, using ses glitch, SPAMMING EVENTS! etc. Some months I couldnt make it and some friends helped me out but it wasnt until around 6 months ago that I started regularly charging 25 bucks a month to get my IM kit.


Events were a huge source of my upkeep especially close to the end. Fortune treasure pocket season 2 and the event server were huge lifesavers for me.

I literally survived in rohan for 6 and 1/2 years off just the EM. Countless hours farming stupid **** making chump change, using big5 glitch, using ses glitch, SPAMMING EVENTS! etc. Some months I couldnt make it and some friends helped me out but it wasnt until around 6 months ago that I started regularly charging 25 bucks a month to get my IM kit.

Farm ronelia, use weaps to fish - forge weapons with drops from fishing, make crystals, sell crystals - make rps.
Making RPS was actually fairly easy at that point. No glitches needed (except perhaps the fishing glitch haha)

People had no idea, threw all their ronelia weaps away. Me and Erde went around buying them off of people for scraps..

Economy went bonkers now though, not quite a viable tactic anymore.

Your forging strategy was useless compared to me and the koreans farming those silva protectors. 4 temps 1 def and savage for aspd totem we shred through those protectors it was like 40 kills an hour equal split.
