Why would Rohan change now? I mean it allows 115 x50 players to go into akhma and clean the place out. Lowbies have complained. And what has been done about it? Nothing. Not in the entire 8 years that this game has been alive. Not here, or in any Rohan pserver I have ever seen. Rohan is designed to be an open pvp game and it will stay that way until it and all its pservers out there closes their doors.

You want to farm stuff on HKs, well this is one of the challenges of doing that. It will not change so you need to make accommodations with it.

    Welcome to R.O.H.A.N.: Blood Feud.
Not exacty like that. I've played every day 1-2 hrs or more every day since 2009. First few years we knew which guilds are kos, who is who, and random rpkers were seldom. As a ranger, I was pked perhaps once in few months or so. Mostly I was killed by mobs lol.
I was in several peaceful guilds and really was never doing pvp. Simply I love this game because of ppl, of quests, collecting stuff, having some goals. I have good gear just to be left alone, and really I've never had problems or complained about anyone.

For the last 4 yrs I'm in my own guild, so I'm not interested who's who.
Surely I came across some rpkers but I see them as mobs, nothing impressive or special.
I just come back to my spot and continue where I started, as if mobs got me.

But now, in this new Mirror dung it takes a lot more to come back and that's annoying.
Also, summon rings or pm does not work there, so it would be nice if that area was protected from rpk.

If you think nothing can be done, and if big guilds have no instruments to expell scum, then ok.
We all started from the bottom, and I would not agree that nothing can be done.
Judging from what's going on now, we can all just leave. But is it what we all want? Even the bullies?

LOL I have no idea where you were playing back then but I can assure you that if you went off somewhere to bot (no HKs then), you were guaranteed to be killed as soon as you failed to answer someone coming up on you in chat. I know because botter hunting was one of my favorite pastimes.

Before Hero people griped about being RPKed in R5 and mock duck. Then they complained about being RPKed in Ronelia & Upper. Now people complaining about being RPKed in wh and mirrors. None of them are easy to get back into. None of them are impossible to get back into. You think you got it bad? You pay your 25mil you can get back into the wh and carry on. To get back into mock duck you need a ticket which goes away once you get in - to get back you need to buy a new ticket.

It is no different today than it was in 2009. You have a pvp game and with it comes rpkers. It is just the way RoHaN is designed. Always has been and always will be. You want to farm? Then you need to meet the challenge of rpkers killing you while you go off to sleep. It is not supposed to be brain-dead easy. No game worth being called a game is easy. There is no such thing as 'safe' farming/leveling places for players 100+. It is a pvp game and pvp games will involve pvp - like it or not.

But the difference today is that everybody is on end-game characters and most of them have dumped hundreds of US$ into their characters over the years. They are too invested to leave. That means there are damn few players left, they are FAKKIN BORED and most of them absolutely hate being so invested in a game they are totally bored with, but just can't justify leaving. That is just the way it is when a game gets as old, worn-out and familiar as this one.

At the end of the day you NOW have bored players frustrated with an uncaring game publisher that are looking to get those 40 shiny new conqueror levels. How do you think they are leveling up, hmm? PVP gains are higher than killing thousands of mobs so guess who is on the menu ---- YOU.

Rohan stopped being a game that everybody felt warm and fuzzy about playing a few years ago. Now it is just a glorified chat room where you can kill some time and burn off the stress of your work day by beating the sh!t out of each other in a virtual world.

There is nothing noble about being superior to others. True nobility is gained by becoming superior to one's former self.
