well ive played my wiz from 1 to 82, and because of issues in this game im quitting now. one of my freinds just asked me for help for a freind of his' wizard build, so im posting a guide i made a while back on my guild forums, and its mostly a straight cut from there. here's to zukii from xLliira ^^

Ok to start with, before 50 u can do 2 builds, int or psy. Do int b3 50 if u can restat later. stats can be like...3 int/1 vit or 3psy/1 vit. for int you may want to add some psy to add to ur mana.
skills for int (do same for psy and use erase ability at 62)
5 energy sphere
5 dark mesage
1 dark eyes
5 health coil
5 mana coil
5 int beam
5 wide encourage

u dont need to max them as soon as you can, its better to diversify in different skills as you lvl. Next ill do wizard skills.

this part will cover necessary wizard skills. for pve you will need...
5 Temper (party buff)
5 psy sheild (party buff)
5 magical peirceing
5 ring burst (4 sec cooldown at lvl 6, worth it)
5 strike bash ( description is bugged, lasts 5 secs at lvl 5)
1 kill time
(also get lvl 5 wide pollution from the mage tree, IT IS UR HIGHEST DMG AOE)

those are the essensial pve skills for wizard, for pvp skills thare are..
5 group mortal immune
5 area dispell
1 mirror strike
5 eternal darkness (this skill pwnz, lvl 1 essential, 5 recommended)

additional skills
5 magical reflection
2 portal warp (for partying in rahkon2+)

last note, if you want to restat to psy from int, the best lvl to do that is around 58, when u begin to get more psy based aoes.

Notes on skills :
AOE debuff is AWESOME, but causes other ppl, especialy dekans, to try to kill you

Cure silence, good for pvp w dhans and for teh r2-r3 bosses, can be used on others

Mirror strike only works on 1 attack

Impervious sheild PREVENTS stun skills from being cast on u (unless ur laging, bugging, or being hacked) so activate it when rush is used on u :P so that second sheild stun doesnt kill u lol.

lvl 5 Weakness lasts a long time, 50 sec of its 60 sec cd. also, it will reduce teh targets hp and mp by 20% even if it is resited.

lvl 5 mortal immune is essential for pvp, probably best pvp skill other than eternal darkness and aoe debuff, makes dhans and dex guards hit for crap.

unless you are doing a build based lvl 5 destroy and aoe criting, the crit buffs are not worth geting, instead get taming mind, frozen ice, and dispell magic to get to wide pollution, magic reflection, and portal warp. these skills are more usefull in pvp, and the crit chance for skills is lower than it is for normal attacks.

lvl 1 in reraise is good for solo or running thru places or in pvp or when ur in a pt where u have a good chance to get killed when ur priest has to keep teh rest of the pt alive.

Multi-Magic arrow suks for dmg in pvp, and its not useful much for pve.

NOW here is my ideal wizard build for lvl 60 (when u have access to all ur useful skills) :
5 dark message
1 dark eyes
1 taming mind
1 frozen ice
1 dispell magic
5 wide pollution
2 portal warp
5 Temper
5 psy sheild
1 impervious sheild
5 Magical peircing
1 count blow
1 weakness
1 multi magic arrow
1 Mortal immune
5 area dispell
5 ring burst
1 mirror strike
5 strike bash
1 kill time
5 eternal darkness
1 reraise

STATS - u will need about 150-200 base vit (in my opinion). past a certan point, u dont need more psy for pve, and u can do more psy for pvp dmg, or more vit for a group pvp tank/debuffer/stunner. Again in my opinion, the high psy, glass cannon, DD wiz build is only gona work well if u have a ton of money to spend on rohan, and isnt what wiz are best at, which is support in pvp, stunning ppl, using strike bash + kill time + eternal darknessx3 + strike bash again to hold 8 ppl for 48 sec, and frustrating agi dhans, dex guards, and dekans (also as i learned, str defenders of they cant kill u in rush, eternal darkness lets them sleep through fixation)

5 weakness

2 mirror strike
5 strike bash
1 kill time
5 eternal darkness
1 reraise

Last note: skills to be made lvl6, roughly in this order - temper, psy sheild, ring burst, wide pollution, dark message.
Other optional skills are (for pvp) group mortal immune, area dispell, strike bash, eternal darkness, magical peircing.

nice. this looks like a more PvP oriented psy build, a tanker/disabler. i also made a psy wizard guide a few days ago. thats a more ballanced build compared to yours (so keeping as much PvE damage as possible while it has most of the necessary PvP skills). if you dont mind, i added the link of this topic to my guilde so whoever is reading that topic will be able to check out yours too to see a different point of view.

Well i liked the guide it is almost the same as Aynara's guide ... The part that i didn't like is the part where you put those skills to lvl 6 .. I think that first skill should be ring burst for the cd of 4 secs... Then temper, shield etc etc

Dont make eternal darkness level 6. You will regret it from the moment its reflected upon you.

ringburst, temper and wide pollution are the first skills to upgrade. The difference between psy shield 5 and psy shield 6 in negligible until high level pvp so that one can wait. Then upgrade damage dealing aoes for the extra target.

GMI level 5+ is recomended for all wizard builds.

No destroy is a big mistake imo. Its damage and usefulness is largely underestimated for psy wizzies.

weakness is probably best left for late in the game. During early-mid game concentrate on more useful skills.

mma is useful in pve, its pvp damage is awful tho.

actually on endgame a wizz should roll fullpsy especially craftrings force you to, your gonna notic that a wizzards damageoutput appears to be retty beasty compared to whaty out ake with a highclassed psyshield and your endgamegears, your like immortal to most of the chars.

next thing is mma can actually hit almost the same amount as piercing does, not on everyone but its a big help to get rid of nonddppl more quick to have time to concentrate on others.

your gonna need 2 staffs for pvp psy dd and hp dd both should have 4x dd, psy should be maxed as much as possible as its gonna be your psyshieldbuffstaff and your damageoutput while the hpstaff pops in as your close to death having tot ank templars or just get ganged.

furthermore as you have a shitload of hp and your gonna be one of the maintargets in pvp all the time by a pretty big load of ppl as you start pulling off some aoes of any kind, reraise 6 is a kinda musthave
it surely depends ony our opponents, if you di almost never you dont need it but actually reviving with 100% hp and mpis never a bad thing, reraise in redrooms and just grind on is my favourite for that one.
just your gonna have a lot of hp later so reviving with them beeing full is surely and advantage for itself, specially if your mainopponents are templars and dhans :P
