No, ure wrong. Jester dart damage calculation is : total mpw dmg + 1/4 physical dmg (3x point strenght equivalent with 1x point int).
But, Jester joker/card damage calculation is : total mpw dmg + 1/2 physical dmg (2x point strenght equivalent with 1x point int).
In other words if jester build str stats in their status it is so useless thats why u never see jester with str build.

Now i'm starting to guide you all to use jester well.

First : Skill

Knife Combo Lv.5
Passion Lv.3
Throw Everything Lv.5 (This will be your primary skill as a Jester)
Merriment Lv.1
Lullaby Lv.5
Urge Lv.1 (Aspd+20 Buff, Very Useful)
Random Throwing Lv.5
Other jester Skills are Optional

Second : Equipments

It's simple really... Since you won't take mobs head on, focus on ASPD, anything with .G/.DG/.XG is
better, but of course not everyone can afford them, for those of you with tight budgets, go with NPC
equipment at early levels, and dont forget to save some money, when you can afford them, get:
Head : Bat Guy Mask or Black Ribbon or Yellow Ribbon.G/.DG/XG with ASPD+
Top : Any Jester or Costume Top.G/DG/XG with ASPD+
Bottom : Rascal Rabbit Costume or Wedding Costume B or Any Jester B.G/.DG/.XG with ASPD+
Shoes :Wanderer Shoes.XG with ASPD+
Acc : Glove of Darkness or Scream Necklace or Swimming Googles Of Humbung or any MPW & ATK Accs.G/.DG/.XG with ASPD+
Pet : Valkyrie, Fly Valkyrie, Fly Phoenix, Fly Dragon, Fly Queen of All Chicken, Phoenix, Sacred Ibis, Queen of All Chicken, or their alternate colored version
I do not require you to buy G/DG/XG equipments or Very rare pet/rare pet. I just recommend you to use it (equipments just depend on ur status build, (if u build jester with full int just use G/DG/XG equipments if not u can use normal equipments), and for pet = optional)

Third : Leveling spots

Level 1-10 - Lime Grandma Quest Series and Adel monastery Quest
Level 10-20 - Silky Joe, Joe the Kickboxer, Nixie/Windy(Many ruby drops at this monster)
Level 10-30 - Red Plumber(Drops BGM,Ruby), Great Mage Piya(Good Exp,Low Def,Many drops)
Level 20-30 - Happy Bah Bah(Many Crystal drops at this monster,Normal Exp), Glora/Flora(Good Exp)
Level 30-40 - Pumpkeener, Tarantula(Drops Eyeball and Mithril for quest), Taranrula Queen
Level 30-40 - Crow(Good Exp, Low Def, Decent Ruby Drop Rate), Travelling Cat in Boots
Level 30-40 - Baby, Papa, Mama Bear (Drops Pacifier, Decent Ruby Drop Rate)
Level 40-60 - Ghost Mage(Good Exp,Low Def, Drops Mithril for quest)
Level 40-60 - Golden Plumber(Drops Titanium for quest, High Spawn Ratio), Forest Ogre
