💡 We would like to remind everyone that Playwith staff does not send links in-game, through social media or emails with links that require you to Log In.
💡 Also, we ask everyone to keep your account protected at all times by not sharing your account information and by avoiding any "event" link that requires you to log in.
💡 Finally, the GM Team will never contact you directly by email (we do not use public domain emails such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc) , if you receive an email from a GM, please report it immediately.

Greetings Rohanians!

Many of you must remember certain messages with a through a Gmail account or a strange link offering Free Items and Crones that some accounts were whispering randomly on Rohan Eternal Vengeance. Many of you saw through the lies and false promises, but others fell in the trap and found missing characters, items, crones and guilds.

To avoid this issue from happening again, we want to establish some points:


Common Phishing Methods:

1. Fake emails (GMs DONT USE GMAIL ACCOUNTS or other domains, only communicate via TICKET PLATFORM)
2. Fake facebook accounts (look like your friends)
3. Fake Community events shared from a fake rohan facebook
4. Fake event links whispered to you in-game.
5. Similar nicknames (IE: Character WOODY, can be mistaken for W00DY, same happens with L and I, etc)
6. (NEW) Fake YouTube Accounts posting videos with scam links in their descriptions.

GOLDEN RULE:
ONLY ENTER YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION INTO THE GENUINE PLAYROHAN PORTAL. Check your address bar to make sure you are on the real portal page.

Advise & Steps to follow:

1) If you receive a link or image from a random person or a friend that has no context in any discussion, don't click on it!. Account hackers are using stolen accounts in order to re-post the same malicious links and carry out illegal or forbidden activities. What could be your friend may not really be him/her!

2) Report any suspicious activity. The GM's can be contacted through http://support.playwithi.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit. Please include the name of the person posting the link, and a screenshot of the URL sent by the scammer if possible.

3) If for any reason, you fell in the scam, don't panic and report inmediately. The faster you submit the report, the faster we can get your stuff back to you.

4) If you are unsure about your account safety, remember that you can add a 2 Step-Authenticator through our official website: https://rev.playrohan.com/

5) All of our events, are published in our official social media (Forum and Facebook posts), we will not send any inbox message or whisp in-game regarding events or links.

This is extremely important. Please notify your fellow players about this issue, and players found guilty of posting, sharing or spamming suspicious link will be banned.
