[UPDATE] Ban Policies 2021

The GM team has the right to take actions against players with behaviors that negatively affect the experience of the game in order to maintain a fair game balance environment.
The actions taken by the GMs are the following ones:
- Account suspension from 1 day up to a permanent ban.
- Reversing or downgrading items, fame, cegel, experience or related.

*The ban duration and actions taken are at the Game Master’s discretion.



Punishable Actions


1. Account Hacking

All the accounts related to stolen items from hacked accounts will be immediately suspended for the duration of the investigation. If an account is found to be an accomplice of the hacker this account will be permanently banned, otherwise it will be released and all the transactions reverted.


2. Cheating/Botting

Any player who is found guilty of using a third-party software to obtain any kind of advantage in the game.
This includes using hacks for:
- Auto-Hunting
- Manipulating the mechanics of the game
- Blinking
- Auto picking up specific items
- Duplication of items
- Any other similar activities

*From now on, the usage of MACRO is NOT FORBIDDEN.

3. Getting benefits from illegal activities

Any player who is found guilty of being an accomplice of a hacker will also be punished. This also includes the following activities:
- Partying with a cheater to get carried and/or farm items.
- Assisting cheater (refining stolen items, passing items to another character)
- Selling party to dummy accounts.

*A dummy account is an account created with the only objective of receiving free items from certain events and/or for farming purposes.


4. Impersonations

Impersonating a Game Master, a Playwith member or any other member of the support staff constitutes serious misconduct, therefore these accounts will be permanently suspended. Similarly, it is totally forbidden to imitate any other player’s character name in order to ask for items, scam a player or obtain any kind of advantage.


5. Abusing Bugs/Glitches/Exploit

Any type of action in which it is intended to make use of a game/code error in a way it was not designed with the objective of gaining a personal benefit. This also includes the abuse of creating multiple accounts with the only objective of receiving free items from certain events and/or for farming purposes (dummy accounts).

*The Game Masters have the right to remove/confiscate the items obtained by dummy accounts, as well as reverting the actions in which these items were used (refining, evolution, etc).


6. Account Theft

In extreme cases, Playwith reserves the right to immediately ban player accounts pending an investigation.


7. Inappropriate Names

Names that are vulgar, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racist, derogatory, or offensive; any usernames which are sexual in nature. (Any language will be considered)


8. Advertising Hacks/Cheats/Bugs/Exploits

It is completely forbidden to advertise any kind of information related to hacks’ acquisition, usage, ways of use, etc. This also applies to spreading information about how to exploit bugs,
glitches or any kind of error that could give a player an illegal advantage.


9. Harassment

Disturbing the gaming experience of any other player/guild through chat, mail, megaphone or any other way in a systematic and repetitive way is not allowed.
This includes revealing personal/sensitive information about a player/guild, as well as creating reports with false evidence towards a specific player/guild.
In summary the following activities are not allowed:
- Griefing
- Blocking Content
- Offensive Phrases
- Stalking
- Sexual Harassment
- Posting Account Information (ID, password, e-mail)
- Posting Personal Information (real name, address, phone number, etc)
- Racism / Hate speech
- Heavy or Explicit Sexual Language
- Anti-religion speech
- False Reports
- Any other similar activities


10. RMT / Selling / Buying / Scamming

Real Money Trading (RMT) is the sale of in-game items, currency, characters, or any other service in order to obtain real money. RMT activity is strictly prohibited and any player who is found guilty of participating in RMT-related activities will be permanently suspended.
Additionally, the following actions are not allowed:
- Trading, Selling or Buying Accounts/Character Names.
- Scam Activities (posting phishing websites)
- Sharing accounts (these accounts will not receive assistance from the support staff and they also may receive a suspension depending on the case)

11. Websites Promoting

The support team reserves the right to give a suspension to any kind of advertisements that are not related to Seal Online/Playwith. In this regard, the following websites are not allowed:
- Cegel/RMT Sites
- Hack Sites
- Inappropriate Sites

The entire duration of a temporary ban must be served if the account in question is found guilty. Remember that insisting will not change the GM Team’s decision.
