    Game won't launch. (SOLVED)

    I can get to the launcher fine. After I launch the game, nothing happens after GameGuard and the logo. The game just doesn't start up. No error or anything visible on the screen. It seemed to happen either after Windows Update or Graphics Driver Update.

    Hello Rohanian!

    We've designed the following Troubleshooting Guide for the problem you're referring to:

    Step 1: Disable Antivirus and Third-Party Software (SOLUTION FOR THIS CASE)
    Step 2: Check Event Viewer for Errors
    Step 3: Rollback Recent Updates

    GM Notes:
    ㄴ Checking Background Processes.

    Step 1. Disable Antivirus and Third-Party Software:

    i) Temporarily disable your antivirus, firewall, and any third-party software you have on.

    * Programs like BitDefender, Malwarebytes, and others can cause this type of behavior on Gameguard, so please disable it to double-check if is that program causing this. (Solution for this case)

    ii) Disable any overlay software (e.g., Discord overlay, Steam overlay). Close unnecessary background applications.
    Launch the game to discover until you find the program that conflicts with the loader.


    Step 2. Check Event Viewer for Errors

    > Procedure

    *Open the Event Viewer (Windows + R, type eventvwr, press Enter).



    * Navigate to "Windows Logs" > "Application" and "System"



    Note: Look for any red exclamation mark events around the time of the game launch for error details and pass it to a GM.




    Step 3. Rollback Recent Updates

    If the issue started after a Windows Update or graphics driver update, consider rolling back these updates.
    Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update" > "View update history" > "Uninstall updates."





    3. GM Notes:

    > Checking Backgroung Procceses

    * Open the Task Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and check for any background processes related to the game. End any unnecessary processes that might interfere with the game launch.
