Is it still safe to enhance to +5 on jainus server? I know the failure rate is pretty low below 6 but this is the best helmet I've ever had and don't want to lose it due to some freak roll.

there is no such thing as 100% chance or guarantees. Never have been even for Jainus. That is because the success rate is not 100%.
There is even a tiny chance to fail even at +1. However in Jainus and Isen up to +5 you will not lose your equipment if you fail.
That is not the case in Origin. on Origin even if you fail at +1 you loose your stuff unless you have an appropriate pres stone.
