what exactly is the level gap in ths game where you dont gain much exp and does conquerer level add into that level gap cause i was told years ago that 14 levels was the gap where 15 means you wont gain much.. and that conquerer adds to the gap.. is that true?

it's 14 lvls of difference. so for example 101 can grind with 115 (even 115 + conquerors won't get affected)
