Question about skill reset stone

When you choose to use the skill reset stone the options seems to mean that you get back any ses or ases that you used previously. Is this the case

I chose the bottom one and didn't get any back (filed a ticket) so if you're going to risk it, pick the top one
in blood feud one meant everything set to 0 and SES lost, and the other meant everything set to 1 and SES kept
I assume the english is just garbled
