Bring back Rohan 1.0

Hey guys!
Don't you miss the times you had to get drops by monsters or buy them from other players to forge your equipment? Not stand by a merchant massbuying items until your stats was perfect. The time before upgraded or epic weapons, before craftmen rings and weapons. Just plain and simple drops.

Is it just me or wasn't Rohan a better game back then? Atleast by seeing the number of players now and then I believe so.

Much as I would like to agree with you, this would never happen. PlayWith is in the business of publishing games and they do that by evolving their current games over time. PlayWith is not the only game publisher that does that. All of them do. I don't care which game it is, their publishers expand and update it over time. Rohan is no different.

And just like all those other game publishers, they will never go back to an earlier, less evolved version of their game. Especially if the benefits of doing so can not be quantified in real world terms.

From my own point of view, a game that stagnates by staying the same for 8 years would lose my interest within 2 years because I would have hit end game within the 1st year. I for one like to see improvements and new content to explore over time, expanding level caps (who wants to sit on the same end game character year after year? not me!), new abilities and new gear to go along with those extended caps & skills. All game publishers know that too and they adjust their game over time to keep it interesting.

Anyway, I agree that ingame drops/items/quests should be of more importance and with that I don't just mean the boss drops. We've seen enough of those already.

The game wasnt nearly as good as people like to think it was. Yeah the system was more balanced but we were also 1000x dumber and made 1000x more mistakes. A rohan 2008 server would be just as imbalanced as it is now.

It is nice to remember the old days but as sunny said we was 1k% more dumber and had no idea how some systems worked i used to play a agi dhan skill build with a bunch of points in diferent stats that we all know now i didnt need cause i was suposed to be agi.
Yes i was that dumb back then T_T
But i prefer the Rohan we are playing right now cause we have a sh!t ton more things to do rather than farm the same bosses from rahkon and ahkma and grinding blindly to 99 with kish armor. PA, CV, SA are by far the most fun things to do otherthan grinding to eternity. Hopefuly the next patches we will see more and improved things like elemental dung revamp(yeah this is real) and other dungeons added to the game more challenging and with somewhat better prices

Don't worry, when I started - I didn't know you could remove stats from armours.
So I put points into the stats I needed to equip certain armour/weapon or accessory parts - and my first guild was named after a pornmagazine if i'm not mistaken.

Awaiting new dungeon changes.

When i started, some gms log in to buff us on GH xD with 10k pdf with mb xDDDDD i was lvl 30-40 old times ;-;

They still log on.

Only they hit you with 1000k dmg instead.

The gm was kuruku or something like that haha and yeah i know they are hitting that with his weapons azota burras ;-;
