Cannot attach element from item mall

When I put element in refine slot it's was alway shown message

Are you using the correct gem? Like, to enchant your weapon with fire, you'll need Red Fire. You use your basic skill "Refine" then you place the weapon on the left slot and the elemental gem on the opposite slot. If it didn't work, check your Elemental Gem description. Any gems that has "unappraised" on their description will not work. I usually see those "unappraised" label on Red Fire.

Thank you for your help , but it doesn't work again . I used yellow iron (Bought from item mall) to refine with my Jester weapon LV50 , my gem no unappraised word
but still found error "incorrect stage to enchant with this jewel"
