We will provide a simple guide to our newest and most hardest dungeon!


Samael’s Fortress of Madness

A long time has passed since the Adventurers overcame all the trials of the Tower of the Sage Another, the forces of 'Samael’s Order' lead by Samael are threatening the capital, Elim. Please stop 'Samael' and the Church of Balie in the 'Samael’s Fortress of Madness'!


I. How to enter Samael’s Fortress of Madness
You can enter Samael’s Fortress of Madness through the Priest who crossed over from the dimension NPC located in Lime Village.

II. Requirements to enter the Samael’s Fortress of Madness

1. Only characters who have completed the 2nd job and are level 275 or higher can enter.
2. You can only enter twice a day per server regardless of character. (Example: If server 1 character A enters twice, server 1 character B cannot enter.)
3. The number of entries is reset at 6 am SERVER TIME.
4. You can only enter while in a party.
5. Damage reduction (DDI) -55%, damage increase (ODI) -40% debuff is applied to players inside Samael’s Fortress of Madness.
6. Upon clearing the dungeon, you can exit the dungeon by pressing [G Shortcut] - [withdraw Party].

III. How to proceed with Samael’s Fortress of Madness

A warp will appear to advance to the next room after defeating the boss of each room. Reach the final room and defeat Samael! You can acquire the material item 'Condensed Samael Energy' when defeating the bosses.

The number of 'Condensed Samael Energy' obtained when defeating Bosses can be seen in the Notes below:

Warning:
*When you defeat Samael of Strength, a dialogue message will appear, and when you click the dialogue [Confirm] button, the rewards will be sent directly to your inventory.
*If you close it with ESC you will be unable to obtain the rewards so please click confirm.
*The boss must die within the character’s field of view to receive the rewards.
*When the boss dies rewards are not granted to dead characters. Make sure to defeat the bosses when all party members can see the boss and are alive.

V. Samael’s Fortress of Madness exclusive shop

Materials needed for Samael equipment fusion and refining Samael equipment can be bought through the "[Merchant]The Balie who escaped" NPC located in Lime Village.

[Incomplete Samael Convergence Equipment Box] can be acquired from the exclusive shop by exchanging 'Condensed Samael Energy', the latter can be acquired from Samael’s Fortress of Madness.
[Samael’s Fortress of Madness: Refining Ticket] can be purchased with Cegels.
Upon using a [Incomplete Samael Fusion Equipment Box] you can obtain 1 random part of the Imperfect Samael Fusion Equipment. (Helmet, Top, Bottom, Boots or accessory)

VI. Fusion System:
The equipment of Samael’s Fortress of madness can be created through a new system called 'Fusion'.
In order to craft Samael Gin equipment, you need Jikael of Chaos/Heavenly Tipareth equipment from Sage Tower Hard.
All Second Option/Spring Option/Skill Option and Enchantments of the Heavenly Tipareth or Jikael of Chaos items used to perform a Fusion process will be lost and will not be passed to the resulting Gin Samael item which will be obtained as Normal +0.

VII. Fusion Method:

1. Click Priest who has crossed the dimension NPC and select 'Fusion'




2. Register Chaos/Heavenly Tipareth equipment (Armors, Weapons and Wing) in the Fusion menu








*Heavenly Tipareth Wings or Jikael of Chaos Wings

3. When you click OK with all necessary materials available in your inventory, the Gin: Samael Equipment will be made.
-The success rate is 100%.
-All material equipment item options are lost during the Fusion Process.
-Non equipment materials items are grayed out when you’re short on materials.
-All Second Option/Spring Option/Skill Option and Enchantments of the Heavenly Tipareth or Jikael of Chaos items used to perform a Fusion process will be lost and will not be passed to the resulting Gin Samael item which will be obtained as Normal +0.

VIII. Materials Required for Fusion



[B]*Gin equipment made through Fusion: The equipment created will be the same type of equipment as the material item.
Example) When using a Jikael of Chaos Assassin Armor (Top).XG → Gin: Samael’s Assassin’s Helmet.
*All Second Option/Spring Option/Skill Option and Enchantments of the Heavenly Tipareth or Jikael of Chaos items used to perform a Fusion process will be lost and will not be passed to the resulting Gin Samael item which will be obtained as Normal +0.
*Types of main and offhand weapons: Defender weapon and shield, Renegade weapon and shield, Assassin weapons and finally, food fighter weapons.

IX. Powder of Ominous Energy

[Powder of Ominous Energy] can be obtained by disassembling Imperfect Samael Fusioned Equipment (Armors, Weapons and Wing).
Dissassembly of Imperfect Samael Fusioned Equipment (Armors, Weapons and Wing) can be done through A priest who has crossed the dimension NPC.



*[Imperfect Samael Weapon Fusion Gemstone] cannot be disassembled.

X. Refining Gin: Samael Equipment (Armors, Weapons and Wing)

1. Purchase [Samael’s Refinement Ticket] (G/DG/XG) from the "[Merchant] The Balie who escaped" NPC at lime.
2. If you have a Gin: Samael Equipment Item +12 that you wish to grade refine, you must head to Lime and seek the corresponding NPC. (Weapon Smelting Craftsman, Armor Smelting Craftsman and Accesory Smelting Craftsman which can be found in Lime).
