    Failed to Download files. Please try again (INFORMATIVE 📜)

    Every time I try to load my rohan it says "failed to download files, please try again" and I don't know how to fix it. Please help me. Hoping for your response, thank you.

    The client is available to download however the game is not active currently. It's now Nov 10th PT time however the GM's have failed to mentioned the time on Nov 10th which it will be available to download the files to play.

    It's a bit annoying that the GM's are usually vague when posting details.

    Okay, but the time should have been announced to the public here or on their FB page where it’s more populated, doesn’t make sense that they’d opt to Discord to disclose that information.

    Its nov 10 but when i want to start the game i still have Failed to download files, Please try again. Does someone know at what (server) time we can start the game ?

    Just a clarification about this error message:

    As Khingy mentioned, the most common scenario of this error message is when the server is not active yet during maintenance events. However, there a few more scenarios that might cause this exact error:

    Here is a list of steps to help you troubleshoot the issue:

    1) Make Sure That the Server is Not Under Maintenance: Check the official game website or forums to ensure the server is not currently under maintenance. If the server is down, you may need to wait until it is back online.

    2) Reset your PC & Router: Restart your computer and your router. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.


    If the Problem Persists Besides 1) and 2)

    3) It’s Time to Check Your Hosts File:

    This issue might be due to modifications in your hosts file, often caused by previously installed private servers. Follow the steps below to check and edit your hosts file

    For Windows 10/11:

    * Press the Windows key and type Notepad in the search bar. Right-click on Notepad and select Run as administrator.



    In Notepad, click File -> Open. In the filename field, type C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts . Then press Enter



    Click Open with Notepad



    Once you have the hosts file open in Notepad:

    Look for any lines that contain playrohan.com. These lines might look something like 127.0.0.1 login.playrohan.com.



    Delete any lines that mention playrohan.com.
    Save the file and close Notepad.
    After performing these steps, please restart your computer and try running the game loader again.
