Reset button for chat window

could we get a reset button to refresh every chat? theres a couple of bugs like items being shown which get stuck in position obscuring the view of any other comments behind it and another bug where you cant even see the stats on the item being shown in the chat. theres a reset for the settings, but what about a reset button to flush out all older comments and info. please? i have gummy bears!
