Rohan crashes windows explorer and other non essential OS components upon launch.

I just reinstalled Rohan a few minutes ago as I wanted to play it some more. Rohan launcher executed with no problem. I gave Rohan's loader and nProtect all the permissions they needed to run both Rohan and nProtect seemed to update and patch with no problems. However when the screen goes black to put focus on the game it auto alt tabs back out to tell me Windows Explorer has crashed, COM Surrogate has crashed, along with my antivirus, Firewall, and a crapload of other programs I had open at the time... Ironically Firefox is unaffected.

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS, 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM, Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB GPU, AMD Phenom 2 Thuban 1100T BE CPU, ASUS Crosshair V Formula 990FX motherboard. The OS is fully updated as is my AV and Firewall, I tried running the game in various compatibility modes. I did not have this problem with the previous version of the client I played.
