Karma is based on the amount of reputation you have. Which is the little green box under your title. Unfortunately, the box doesn't show exactly has much rep you have. Karma goes up or down based on positive or negative feedback and Karma dictates the +/- when you rep other people. Hopefully, this encourages everyone to be more helpful towards each other

Just for those that don't know. You can see how many reputation points you have by going to "Setting" tab (Top right of your page) and in there you can see what points you have and from what thread you received them from

Personally I hate rep systems. Almost every forum I have been in that had them used rep systems as a way to simply bully people.

I ignore them.

Altho its meant to be a reward of some sort (?) for being helpful to other players, I think a lot of people see it as a popularity contest like who ever has the most points is more liked or w/e. Well at least that's how it is in the other game I play.
