There is no set forumula. The exp levels required for each level is hard-encoded in the game exp tables.

decoding that experience table I see:

To get from Level 1-> 51 you need 181,141,430 exp points.
To get from 51 -> 90 you need another 8,334,307,520 exp points on top of that
to get from 90 -> 100 you need another 10,064,530,333 exp points on top of that
to get from 100 -> 115 you need another 151,276,122,151 exp points on top of that

In other words to get to 115 you need to have acquired 169,856,101,434 ( a little under 170 BILLION experience points)

    Have fun.

(Please do not ask me to share this decoded table. I wont.)

I'll leave it to you guys to see of you can work out some kind of formula for that.

1 billion points is .59% of the way to 115. All you need is 170 of those bags

Once you get to 115, you need 24,049,356,842 points to get to the equivalent of 116 (100%) so one bag would be right around iceyy's 5%
It's impossible for us to work out a formula for it if we don't know how many exp points a monster gives.

You can make an estimate of how long it will take you to get to them maximum level though. Let's say that it takes you 3 hours to get from level 1 to 51. Assuming that you were killing monsters at the same speed, and you got the same amount of exp points per monster kill, it would take around 138 hours to reach level 90. It would take another 166 hours to go from level 90 to 100. At this same rate, going from level 100 to 115 would take 2,505 hours. This is a total of 2812 hours. If you leveled your chars every day for 4 hours at this rate, it would take 703 days, or 1.9 years.

The workings of the exp.bin file is a little convoluted. The requirements data I got there came directly from the exp.bin file that is downloaded by the Rohan client patcher.

It contains not only the exp requirements for each level, it also gives the exp for unnamed mobs at each level (i.e. level 1 vargs give 175 exp) and the max experience you can get from any mob at each level. That last is the value that keeps you from getting huge exp gains if you kill mobs WAY beyond your level. It is the reason you can go up to R3 at level 30, kill golems like mad and get no more exp from them than if you would if you killed level 40 mobs. I can go into detail about that but I don't think PlayWithI would appreciate it. It protects the game from people who manage to create an OP character from leveling in areas way above their level to get unreasonable leveling benefits. After all it is dead simple to farm R3 these days with a lvl 30 character.

If you were leveling with the benefit if 1,000,000,000 exp pouches then the actual mob exp given is irrelevant because it is such a small factor at the higher levels.

If you are leveling the hard way (no pouches) you can use the information in exp.bin to calculate how much % exp you get from each mob kill (would be basic solo data only since you can't really factor in the end result if things like parties, scrolls and seals come into the picture).
