[Guide] Refinement System ⬇️

Greetings Rohanians!

Most refining systems in MMORPG's focus on enhancing an item's stats (options). However, in R.O.H.A.N., refining refers specifically to
lowering the equipment requirements of an item without altering the stats! We have 3 types of refining:

1. Stats Refining:

• All these refinements are done through NPCs in the main towns. Each refinement takes a number of crones and has a certain chance to succeed.
• Stats & Rank refinement can only decrease stats, meaning that upon failure nothing happens other than you losing your crones. The items can't break from Status & Rank refinement.
• As a general rule, the higher the stat value, the higher the stat requirement tends to be:

How to refine the Stats of your item

1. Go to every town and find "Status Refiner" on the map.



2. Right-click NPC "Status Refiner" and click "I want to refine an item".
3. Drag and drop the item you want to refine the status then click "Refine".



> Now your item has been refined stats.

2. Rank Refining:

• Sometimes when the player buys magic items or obtains items from monsters, they may have rank requirements.
This means that the player has two options if it wants to use the equipment:



How to refine the Rank of your item

Option 1
Find an NPC "Status Refiner", ask it for refining the rank of the item, this cost crones and may fail
this may lead to a considerable expenditure of crones.


* You will need to refine the item all the way until RANK 1.

Option 2
Alternatively, you can join a guild and climb through the ranks.



3. Level Refining:

• Level refinement is different; you can de-level your items 30 levels (You can do -32 safely if you reach -29 levels and then use the -3-level refinement option).
• If you go past this point, a failure to refine will result in the destruction of your item.
• Any level refinement failure will result in your item increasing its level with the number of levels you tried to refine it, up to the initial level of the item:

1. Go to every town and find "Level Refiner" on the map.



2. Right-click NPC "Level Refiner" and click "I want to refine an item".
3. Drag and drop the item you want to refine, click "Refine" then click "Confirm".



Now your item has been refined to the level.



4. GM Notes:

GM, if we refine Abyssal/Celestial/Chaos gear from level 180 to level 135 (a 45-level reduction), is there a 100% chance of success with no risk of destruction?

• We can confirm that you DLVL up to -35 without the risk of destroying, past that limit your equipment can be destroyed, so please be careful as well.



GM Tips

✅ Check "Book List" if have Event Boost (chance of success rate increased).
✅ You can use refinement stones to increase the success rate from the Stats & Rank Refinements.





* You can obtain refinement stones in Vengeful Scratch and from time to time in special events.

✅ We recommend refining your newly crafted & forged weapons/armors using the Guild Skill: Refine Supporter, which will allow you to add a +10% extra success rate to your level refinement:
