1. Introduction

> Guarder vs Shields (Off-hand)

We know that a shield is part of your armor set, various shields can be obtained but the most important ones are listed below:

1. Chimera shield (prequel of Opaniel shield) can be bought in an NPC in the crafting studio for a small amount of money (PVP & PVE) (Low tier) (Crafted)
2. Opaniel shield made out of chimera shield+12 (PVP) (Medium tier) (Crafted)
3. (Transcended) onyx shield (PVE – if transcended) (Medium tier) (Forged)
4. Igniel shield made out of Opaniel shield (Attack or defense) (PVP & PVE) (High tier) (Crafted)

A guarder is a kind of "shield". Every class/race can use a guarder but you have 5 different kinds of guarders which all evolve into the next stage:
Chimera's Guarder --> Tali's Guarder --> Opaniel's Guarder --> Trans. Opaniel's Guarder --> Trans. Igniel's Guarder--> Ruler's Guarder

There's a total of 6 Stages in enhancing your Guarder, from Chimera up to Ruler. Each stage grants progressively more potent bonuses and effects.

Once your character transcends you will be able to purchase it from NPC Obel whom you will find in the Fishing Hole which you can buy in exchange for 2.5B crones & EXP:

There is a total of 14 spirit stones (all 30-day versions) available in the Item Mall and sometimes in kiosks (in-game):



> GM, how hard is it to get a Guarder and upgrade it?

A guarder is (compared to chakras or Opaniel armor) relatively easy to make.
It’s a must-have for every class that doesn’t use a shield since the option stones for it are available on the IM, last 30 days, and give a wide variety of effects that can’t be gotten any other way (except for trans weapon stones).
