Every body has bad luck days/weeks/months/years(?)... Some days are simply more lucky than others.
One thing I find that helps if you are having a particularly crappy streak, exit the game, then restart. This throws some new seeds into the game's randomizers so you may get some better pseudo luck. I've tried it a couple times and it seemed to help during those times when I can't seem to catch a break.
