"With Gorillaz’s new album dropping at the end of month, a new tour in the works and their own festival, Demon Dayz, the virtual band led by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have confirmed that there’s also a Gorillaz TV show in the works.

During an interview with Q Magazine, Jamie Hewlett — who is responsible for the virtual band’s aesthetic — confirmed he’s working on raft of new projects related to the band including an animated TV show, new artwork, tour merchandise, a clothing line and “other things he never imagined when the Gorillaz was born”.

ooo yeah i saw that couple of days ago.
gonna be so great, gorillaz were pretty much the musical highlight of my childhood.
