Huh? Are you sure your weapon was -29 before you opt to -3 it again ? coz -29 + - 3 = -32 SAFE Delevel. Maybe you did -30 then -2 and it broke

I never had a problem to -32 any items with the -29+-3 method.

first time I heard it as well. I have failed at -29 and dropped to -26 with no breakage while refining upgrades. costs sh!loads in crones, but no breaking.

Which alien colleague told you that? Always been and still is -32.
Just deleveled my twink staff -32 after a few fails from -29 to -32. Guess what happened: it didn't break

So I guess there's only one solution for that problem

I don't want to throw a monkey wrench in the works here, but it's not always been like that. Was max. 15 (read: 14+3 = 17) dlvls before :P

We started with -17 :P cause we started in 2009, acc. to my account info that is (although I think DeadlyPhoenix account was first, but anyway).
Still, say around 1y after OB of Rohan (as we were skulking around in last chaos prior to that), which was -15/-17 (pre first server merge and craftings release).

It changed to -32 a quite some time ago, though. So the majority of our dlvl's did happen by -32, indeed.
