Far be it from me to tell anyone here to go play on a private server. Most certainly NOT!

There are many benefits to playing the official game:

1. (biggest reason) Updates. The official publisher has access to game updates. Playing here you will always have access to the latest features. But make no mistake you will pay big for that. Most (but not all) private servers are built on leaked code. They will never be able to reach the same update levels you currently enjoy from the publisher.

2. Longevity. Official servers are licensed to legally run their game. Private servers built on leaked code are not licensed to run that code. There is a very good chance they will disappear after a time.

3. Staffing. Publishers are companies with a board of directors and shareholders. They are in this as a business and purely to make money. Internal disputes and boredom have no place in a business and do not affect the operation of the game. Private servers are run by either individuals or LLCs - both of which can pack it all up and close the doors at a moment's notice. Mind you if PlayWith Interactive decides to shut down Rohan, i doubt very much you will get notice that it is happening either.

4. Support. Support in places like this is iff-ey, but it is far better than you are going to get in 90% of the private servers out there.

5. Familiarity. Like it or not you know exactly what you are getting here. No more, No less. Private servers seldom run their server the same way you will see here. What you get is a mixed bag depending on the developer's skill and vision. Some boast the moon & stars as your starting items along with 1-120 in about 4 hours (if not 120 immediately). Some move a few skills around or delete others. And still other offer no-fail refining, forging, reinforcement and enchanting. Still other promise 'pre hero' gaming. It's a mixed bag - Forrest Gump's box of chocolates. The publisher takes all the variables away and keeps the game as unchanged as possible -- regardless how much their players may demand changes.

There are many reasons to play the original publisher's game. However there are also many reasons to turn away from it and explore the gray world of the alternatives. No one can chose for you which way to go. Both have benefits and pitfalls.

Private server train players to become noob. They want to start playing with all equipments updated. So, what's the thrill in that game? Want to have fun just by killing another players? Then if you want fun, go to Iraq. Participate with USA. Kill enemies. You'll surely get fun with it. F*cl Pplayers
