I'm guessing if you're unable to run at 1024x768 your laptop is pretty old. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that you also check out if you meet any of the other system requirements to run the game properly.

Hes using a netbook, based on his native resolution it would be a less than 10" one. (You can run 1024*768 on a 7" screen but youd have to scroll down to get the bottom bit of the screen.)

Whoops missed the netbook part. Must also be a really small one as I have a netbook and it gets up to 1336x768.

Even so, atom processors lack the processing speed to really run this game effectively (if at all), and usually netbooks have on-board graphics, meaning even if the CPU speed is high enough, the graphics capabilities probably aren't.

You wont know until you see the model. I remember when I was in highschool a class mate of mine had a Asus Eeepc 701 "The 4g surf" I thought it was so cool from the looks then I saw it was 800*600 native resolution.

Yea but atom processors care barely handle runescape.
I have an asus seashell. 1.6 ghz single core processor, 512 mb graphics. Can't play Rohan on that.

Im the greatest hero in this planet, i finally resolved the problem. I changed the registry of windows 7 and unlocked the resolution 1024x768 and 1152x864. Im such a nice guy that i came to the forum and share the solution with you people while i enjoy my joint :P

    1) go to the regedit.

    2)press F3 and search this: Display1_DownScalingSupported

    3) When he finds it you need to check the last number of the code. If its 0 change it to 1.

search again with F3 and keep changing them from 0 to 1. When th program doesnt found another one close the program and reboot your computer. When the computer restart you are going to be able to change your resolution to 1024x768 and 1152x864
