What forge weekend you're talking about? If weekend forge event, then there's no event like that. They've stopped doing that since Atzigan left. Forge rates right now are on their normal mode, no boost from any events. Bet the rates are low that is why but I can still see players forged their item successfully. I think they spent a lot of $$$ and patience to get it done.

I said normal mode because this is the way it is and don't overlooked what I said, the rates are really low and for me it is not ok! And FYI MR. SMARTASS, PRESERVATION STONE ONLY PRESERVES THE ITEMS it doesn't add success rate or any boost. Just fyi in case you are asking why all your **** failed altogether despite of the amount of preservation stones you've used.

Haha I spend 290 mil to d lvl 1 set of glacial set ( not ench set yet ) to max dlvl ( -30-31 lvls each part )
And dlvl my onyx set ( -30-32 lvl ) each part

Both set took me 290 mil crones to dlvl and its was with the guild buff .

But hey why shuold I cry ? People choice to play here even with all the rate around

Depends out of how many tries.
19 fails (12+7) out of like 100 tries is actually pretty lucky....
all depends on how many you tried. Although, the other day i farmed for a few hours, had enough pieces worth forging to try for 6 rares... each one failed.
