[Ambassador Guide 🌟] New & Returning Player Monster Guide

    Preface:

Some information about the author of this guide. I’ve played Rohan for over 12 years at every class and at every (officially) hosted server. I have tried to put my knowledge and experience down in an understandable and compact way, accessible for everyone. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to join the R.O.H.A.N Discord and ask your question(s) there. I hope this guide will help you in your quest to become the strongest Rohanian in Rohan history. Enjoy

    General information:

If you are going to play Rohan and you want to be a competitive PVP player you have to spend $ or you have to spend a lot of time doing business and farming and such to be able to get yourself good gears. Bear this in mind as it may be one bumpy journey, you'll only be disappointed. This game takes a lot of patience, time and dedication (and money) if you want to become one of the best.

    Tips & Tricks:

I will summarise some random tips and tricks here, they might not be useful for everyone but since this is a general guide for a lot of different players, there will probably always be something that applies to you.

    1. Join R.O.H.A.N Discord to communicate with other members of the community and ask questions: https://discord.gg/f2XaSu5tcf
    2. Generally Forging/Refining Items is Expensive. In most cases it costs more than you intended and it’s often cheaper to just buy the items from other players than it is to make it yourself. For low level gear (<115) I'd say you can either buy it or make it since you don’t need preservation stones and the parts are fairly cheap. For high level gear (onyx and such) I'd suggest to buy it from other players rather than making it yourself. Making it depends on your own luck, you could be spending a lot of money and you’ll still have no gear. Buying it from others is the safer option.
    3. If you are in game press ''F'' then type an item's name you want, let’s say ''Shield of edwin''. type the first word with a capital letter. If you are lucky, some shields of edwin will show up. This means people are sitting kiosk (shop) and you can buy it. The location and price are also shown in there.
    4. If you press ''L'' while in game you get to see your friends list, if you then go to the third tab which is called ''Find player'' you see a box which says ''Activate Anonymous mode'' this will prevent players from finding you and the location you are on. Check this box if you have a lot of problems with (personal) pker's.
    5. Buy a bunny, this pet will remember the location you are on for 5 minutes and port you back there. It saves a lot of time while grinding or questing, you can sell items or buy potions and you'll be back before you know it!
    6. You can get tickets +10/+12/+15/+18/+21/+24. These tickets give a 100% chance to reinforce an item +1 up to a max of what the ticket number shows you.
Example: if you have a ring +5 you can use an Enhancement Ticket +10 on it and the ring will become +6. You can keep doing this until your ring becomes +10 after which you’ll need +12 tickets to get it to +12 and so on. The best way to use tickets is to + your ring using an abradant + ARS first, to roughly +6-8. After this you can use tickets to reinforce your item all the way up to +12 if the item needs to tier up otherwise go as far as you can.
    7. PVP & PVE Defence works like damage drop but it’s specifically designed to only reduce PVE or PVP related damage (PVE = Player vs. Environment & PVP is Player vs. Player).
    8. Super Lucky/Deluxe Abradant: Super Lucky Reinforced Abrasive adds a flat 25% success rate, Deluxe Abradant adds a flat 20% success rate
    9. Do not leave characters fighting immortal guards to obtain hunting bonus, it is considered as the abuse of a quest system and you'll be kicked or banned
    10. You can complete Cassandra's quest only once per character and it has a level limit of level 100. The item ''Mark of a New Adventurer is required to take and the complete these quests.
    11. How do I obtain Ancient Skill Enhancement Stones in game? You can obtain ASES from the monthly login event, system event boxes, R5 boxes (opened with the silver/gold coins), Elemental dungeon box rolls and Olaf monthly quests as well as a few other non-repeating quests.
    12. Assassination mode or Persona Switch, when you reached 10 kills/PK's you have to hunt 500 mobs within your level in order to get another 10 PK's/Kills. Take in mind that the cooldown on the Persona Switch is 7 days.
    13. Please note that Lucky Number rewards expire in approximately 2 weeks if it’s not moved to Inventory.
    14. Spirit Stones from the IP Mall last for 3 days
    15. You can refine the Rank requirement on equipment at the Status Refiner NPC.

    Which class should I play?

There are various classes in Rohan and with it, a lot of different flavours to pick from. Each race contains 2 classes. For example, Elf is a race which contains Priests and Templars. Levelling Recommendations:

A few useful things to note about obtaining XP

    1. Sometimes there are events which grant new players XP pouches, Mark of the adventurer and other goodies which are useful to level up faster. Either because they directly grant you XP or because they increase your killing power and survivability, enabling you to kill strong monsters, faster.
    2. Every weekend there are XP & Drop rate boosts which boost your obtained XP (only that from killing monsters, XP pouches but also the XP from elemental dungeon stages is excluded)
    3. XP Scrolls and Seals both solo & party are a great way to increase the XP you obtain (again these only work for monsters you or your party kills) (Solo seals and scrolls DO work in a party)
    4. Last but not least, by far the easiest way to level up is to join a party of strong players inside a mirror dungeon. You can be level 100 in no time and even 115 will be fast. This is faster and easier than any other way described below but it does require you to pay Crones to someone to boost you, or to have a strong character yourself with which your alternate character can party.

    Lvl 1 to 115+0:
    -Navigation Guide (1~60):
    -Ashkeena Dungeon (60-70)
    -Cassandra Quests (70~90)
    -Gratt Underground Lower/Waterway/Upper (60-115)
    -Minor Elemental Dungeon (90-115+0)

    Lvl 115+0 to 115+50:
    -Ashkeena Dungeon (115)
    -Gratt Treasure Warehouse (115)
    -Intermediate Elemental Dungeon (115-115+50)
    -Mirror Dungeons (115+0-115+50)

    Lvl 115+50 ~ transcended:
    -Mirror Dungeons (115+0-115+50)
    -Superior Ashkeena Dungeon (Transcended)
    -Hero Hall (Transcended)
    -Superior Elemental Dungeon (Transcended)
    -Blazing Temple (Recommended: Transcended)

    Freebies:

It is important to note that there are some systems in game which provide players with free items with very little effort. I will list the most important systems below:

    1. Newbie Helper: This NPC, found near the bind stones of various towns and gives quests to newly created characters with various rewards. The only requirement is obtaining a certain level.
    2. Mark of a new Adventurer/Cassandra Rewards: Some events grant newly created characters the mark of the adventurer which enables the character to receive extra reward quests. The quests only require you to have the mark of the adventurer in your inventory and to have a specific level however once you go beyond level 100 (ie 101+) you will not be able to do Cassandra’s quests.
    3. Login Events: these events consist of either logging in a certain number of hours in a specified timeframe in order to obtain cumulative rewards or grant extra daily rewards for every daily login. Both are good ways to obtain free items with very little effort
    4. System Events (farming): System events grant world drops to nearly all monsters in Rohan. As long as you’re in the possession of a loot pet you can kill any monster around your level and collect these drops to make system event boxes which give random loot (some of which might be quite valuable)

    Gear Explanation & Recommendation:

This topic will summarise the most important aspects of gear you can obtain in the game.

    Crafted vs. Forged:

This is an important distinction because of the way these items are reinforced later on. A crafted item is made from various materials and is usually upgradable to/through various tiers. Forged items exist in base/plain, rare, unique and ancient tiers and each tier is made up of the components of the tier that came before it. Forged items come without sockets (unless transcended) whereas crafted items come with sockets independent of being transcended or not. The rest of this chapter will include almost solely crafted items, forged items are, right now not that good for most classes.

    Crafted items Example:
Ferken --> Tali --> Opaniel --> Transcended Opaniel --> Transcended Igniel

    Forged item Example:

Base dagger + base dagger + option stones --> rare dagger
Rare dagger + rare dagger + option stones --> unique dagger
Unique dagger + ring (dropped from monsters) --> ancient dagger

    Armor:

There is a wide variety of armours in game, many of which might be useful at a given level but I will only name the most important ones for the mid to endgame purpose. The same goes for the other gears mentioned in this chapter.

    1. Chimera armour set (prequal of opaniel armour set) can be bought in an NPC in the crafting studio for a small amount of money (PVP & PVE) (Low tier) (Crafted)
    2. Opaniel armour set made out of chimera armour parts +12 (PVP) (Medium tier) (Crafted)
    3. (Transcended) onyx armour set (PVE – if transcended) (Medium tier) (Forged)
    4. Igniel armour set made out of transcended opaniel armor set + Igniel's Armor (Attack or Defense) Conversion Stone (PVP & PVE) (High tier) (Crafted)

Note: It is important to make clear that Igniel's Armor (Attack) Conversion Stone and Igniel's Armor (defense) Conversion Stone are two different items.

    Weapons:

    1. Onyx weapon (Forged)(PVP & PVE) (Medium tier)
    2. Ferken/Tali weapon the prequal of opaniel weapon (Crafted) (PVP & PVE) (Low tier)
    3. (Transcended)Opaniel weapon (Crafted) (PVP & PVE) (Medium tier)
    4. Igniel weapon made out of opaniel weapon (PVP & PVE) (High tier) (Crafted)

    Rings:

    1. PVP pendants (obtained through the PA mall) give 200 of a certain stat, HP and 20% PVP defence as set effect
    2. PVE pendants (obtained through elemental dungeon quest, requires 10 persons of one specific type) gives 200 of a certain stat, HP and 20% PVE defence as set effect
    3. Chakras, come in various tiers and are the best rings in game.
    See chakra guide: http://forum.playrohan.com/forum/sho...#axzz72tZtTQ4H)

    Ear/Eye:

Transcended eye ear (and all underlying tiers)
    See trans ear/eye guide: http://forum.playrohan.com/forum/sho...#axzz72tZtTQ4H

    Guarder/Shield:

A shield is part of your armour set, various shields can be obtained but the most important ones are listed below.

    1. Chimera shield (prequal of opaniel shield) can be bought in an NPC in the crafting studio for a small amount of money (PVP & PVE) (Low tier) (Crafted)
    2. Opaniel shield made out of chimera shield+12 (PVP) (Medium tier) (Crafted)
    3. (Transcended) onyx shield (PVE – if transcended) (Medium tier) (Forged)
    4. Igniel shield made out of opaniel shield (Attack or defence) (PVP & PVE) (High tier) (Crafted)

A guarder is a kind of ‘’shield’’ Every class/race can use a guarder but You have 4 different kind of guarders which all evolve into the next stage:
Chimera guarder --> Talis Guarder --> Opaniel Guarder --> Igniel Guarder

A guarder is (compared to chakras or opaniels armour) relatively cheap to make. It’s a must have for every class that doesn’t use a shield since the option stones for it are available on the IM, last 30 days and give a wide variety of effects that can’t really be gotten any other way (except for trans weapon stones).

    Item Augmentation and Alteration:

This section will briefly cover the various ways items can be altered which generally means, they become more powerful. It is important to note that the Reinforcement and Refinement systems are based on chance. Weekend events generally increase the odds of success, it is wise to WAIT for an event before you attempt to reinforce or refine something.

    Transcended:
To transcend an item, a player needs a shiny transcendence stone which can be obtained in various ways (Pending link for future guide). This shiny transcendence stone is used to transcend an item. General rule of thumb is that only high-level items can be transcended and only the final stage of an item can be transcended (Forged – Ancient or Darkness Onyx) (Crafted – Opaniel). Transcending an item will give the item more powerful stats and depending on the kind of item it might add sockets.

    Item Transcendence Menu

We will now insert our Opaniel’s Guarder

    Opaniel’s Guarder

And once we click confirm we will transcend our item.

    <Transcended Opaniel’s Guarder>

    Sockets:
Sockets are empty slots in which you can fit Spirit Stones, depending on the kind of weapon only specific Spirit Stones fit. For example, the Spirit Stones bought from the IP-mall will only fit in crafted items. Whereas Transcended Spirit Stones (Bought from the Item Mall) will only fit in transcended items (both crafted and forged). The Spirit Stones are always time based and will expire after x amount of time has elapsed.

    Reinforcement:
Reinforcement is shown by the + icon behind an item’s name. The reinforcement is useful for two main reasons. The most obvious one is the fact that, with each extra + an item gets, the stats/attributes it gives are increased. Secondly, the only way for crafted items to be upgraded from a lower to a higher tier is by reinforcing them to +12 and exchanging them to obtain the next tier +0. Repeating this process until the final tier is obtained.

It is important to note the difference between reinforcing crafted versus forged items. Where crafted items are reinforced by using Armor Reinforcement Stones or Weapon Reinforcement Stones and an abradant as safety measure (to prevent losing your item in case of failure). Forged items are reinforced through an NPC in the crafting studio with various crystals. Crafted items have NO safe reinforcement level, even when going from +0 to +1, the item can break and you’ll lose it. Forged items are safe to reinforce up to +5.

    <Reinforcement Stone Menu>

    <Forged items reinforcement menu>

Lastly there are Enhancement tickets in game which allow you to +1 an item with 100% success. More information about this is in the ‘’Tips & Tricks’’ chapter, note 6.

    Refinement:
Refinement can be divided into three different kinds

    1. Level refinement
    2. Status refinement
    3. Rank refinement

All these refinements are done through NPCs in the various towns. Each refinement takes a number of crones and has a certain chance to succeed. Status & Rank refinement can only decrease stats, meaning that upon failure nothing happens other than you losing your crones. The items can't break from Status & Rank refinement. Level refinement is different, you can de-level your items 30 levels (You can do -32 safely if you reach -29 levels and then use the -3-level refinement option). If you go past this point, a failure to refine will result in the destruction of your item. Any level refinement failure will result in your item increasing its level with the number of levels you tried to refine it, up to the initial level of the item.

    Talismans:
Talismans are a very important aspect of your gear and determine for a large part how powerful your character becomes. There are various talismans which each give unique benefits. Most of these talismans are obtained and reinforced in unique ways. This chapter will only summarise all the available talismans in game, split up in permanent talismans and temporary talismans. There are links for most of the talismans which will bring you to the guide which describes this specific talisman in more detail. (under construction!)

    Permanent Talismans:
    Blood Pact Talisman
    Prevention Mask
    Elemental Talisman
    Walter’s Medal
    Transcended Talisman
    Magical/Universal talisman
    Party rune

    Temporary talismans:
    Hero’s Seals
    Champion’s Seals
    Book of the beginning
    Relic of the sea
    Tenacity/Versatility Talisman
    Season Pass
    Power Arena Badge

Additional Temporary Talismans: There are some temporary talismans in the Item Mall or obtainable from events that increase Drop Rate, EXP (solo/party), MKILL (solo/party),etc.
Important: You cannot have more than one talisman of the same Type (Example: you will not be able to unseal a Type P Talisman if you already have one unsealed Type P talisman on inventory.
To check your current talismans head to C menu and click the Talisman Tab.

    Elemental Dungeons (ED):

There are three different kinds of elemental dungeons
    1. Minor elemental dungeon (from level 90) (5 stages)
    2. Intermediate elemental dungeon (from level 115+0) (10 stages)
    3. Superior elemental dungeon (Transcended) (15 stages)

Shortened, people use ‘’minor’’ ‘’inter’’ ‘’sup’’ or ''ED'' for these dungeons when mentioning them. All three dungeons give relatively good XP for the level that’s needed to enter them. All three dungeons have a similar rewards system in which you get random ‘’rolls’’ on rewards with each stage you complete. Completing more stages gives you more rolls (and more XP) and thus a higher chance for good rewards. The difficulty of these dungeons varies greatly, most new players are able to do 5 stages of minor quite fast. After level 102 or so the XP you get from minor isn’t that great anymore. At 115+ (or high +) this XP becomes nearly neglectable. Inter dungeons gives good XP up to 115+40 or so. After this level, the amount feels low since the XP you need for the remaining levels is huge. Inter dungeons are a lot harder to complete and not all players can easily do 10 stages. Specially the last boss stage is hard for some players to complete and might require a certain party composition to finish off easily. Superior dungeons are very hard and you need endgame gear on your character and all others in your party. Specially stage 11-15 from the superior dungeon are challenging and require very good gear to survive.

    Optimal setup for an ED:
-1x Rumir (dark loop boss + heals) and/or 1x Ranger (ult the boss and give WF)
-4-5x Main DPS class (Predator, Dragon Sage, Templar, Savage, Berserker, Scout, Wizard, Guardian)

    Optional:
-1-2x other supports such as priests or VIT defender
-1-2x other DPS such as Noir, Dragon Knight, Warlock

    Pets:
You can buy pets from the Item Mall and in game for crone. You can fuse these pets to make better pets. You will need 2x level 3 normal pets (such as honey bear, soft kahto, bunny, monkey etc.) with 3/3 lives and fuse them with a special fuse item (example: Lion Crown) (90% success change, if you fail, you keep both pets and lose the fuse item). This will give you a level 1 fused pet depending on the used fuse item such as a lion king, royal dragon, fairy etc.

Currently the best pets in game are pets which are made by using pet adoption tickets. It's highly recommended you use either one of those ''new'' pets. Dorota in the crafting studio has a quest to exchange 250 Pet Adoption Ticket (which can be obtained through various systems in the game such as system event boxes, time jewel boxes and the web-gachas). Exchanging 250 tickets will give you 1 of the pets below (of your choice), the pets are permanent and grow up to level 3 (stats shown below are for level 3 pets). It takes 9000 feeds to level such a pet from level 1 to level 3. You can obtain the 1k pet feeds (a pet feed that lasts for 60 minutes and increases the feed count on your pet by 1000) for 200K IP in the IP mall (also in the crafting studio). Some players choose to obtain the Rare King Lion or Rare Fire Fox because they only cost 10 pet adoption tickets. This is a good intermediate pet to use until you can obtain one of the Goddess pets. Most classes fare best by using the lion, however for the trinity race the fox is preferred because the HP boost from the lion does not affect the stats obtained by the Dormant Power passive.

    Nurse Goddess Silva (level 3):
    - 50% HP
    - 30% attack speed
    - 50% weight raise
    - 40% Damage to HP (this will convert 40% of your received damage directly to HP)

    Tennis Goddess Silva (level 3):
    - 50% HP
    - 30% attack speed
    - 50% weight raise
    - 40% boost to Melee/Magic/Ranged attack (just like empower)

    Maid Goddess Silva (level 3):
    - 50% HP
    - 30% attack speed
    - 50% weight raise
    - 20% cooldown reduction for all skills/buffs

    Hero Goddess Silva (level 3):
    - 50% HP
    - 30% attack speed
    - 50% weight raise
    - 35% PVP attack (literally boosts all your damage in PVP by 35%)

    Titles:
Titles are valuable assets in the game and can make your character stronger. The easiest title to obtain is the ‘’Explorer Title’’ to obtain this title you have to go to the HCS button (right side of your screen, looks like a large capital Q). You have to press ‘’Challenge’’ and teleport to the mangrove & southern shielynth bind stone. You’ll automatically get a message when your title quest is completed. To equip the title press C, go to titles and select the title you want.

The best title in game is the 1k stats title (it gives 1000 of a certain stat (for example str) and gives 10% PVP defence, 10.000 HP and 200 attack (either melee or ranged or magic).

To make this title you need all previous, accumulating titles. Starting with the titles you can obtain from the power arena. Once you reach the maximum power arena title (named Star of Victory) you can get the ‘’Transcended title’’ (requires 50x badge of victory, level 115+50, 1x shiny transcendence stone and star of victory title ticket). Once you reach the transcended title you can obtain the 1k stats title which requires 100 proofs of every kind (400 in total 4x100 proofs) 100x badge of victory, 1x shiny transcendence stone and 115+50 and the previous mentioned ‘’’transcended title ticket.

There are various other titles sold on the item mall for various purposes, from gaining more XP to obtaining more movement speed or PVE attack. Depending on your class, your goals and your current level and equipment you might want to consider buying some of these titles.

    Power Arena:
From level 90 and up you can attend the power arena. This is an even that is held 9 times a day in blocks of 3 consecutive power arena fights. It’s mainly a PVP event but there are PVE opportunities too. The Power Arena rewards are seasonal, meaning depending on the rank (the rank of your badge) you achieve you get rewards once the season ends.

There are 4 major reasons why you should attend the power arena every day:
    1. The (victory)badges from power arena are needed for titles but also for buying PVP pendants (Power badge) and making shiny transcended stones (victory badge) additionally the Victory badges are required to attempt to reinforce your party rune.
    2. The end of season rewards include tickets+12/15, a permanent costume and an XP pouch. This XP pouch can contain up to 1(T) trillion XP.
    3. PA is a fun source of PVP without the risk of losing items or XP or getting angry people after you because you killed them. It’s also a good place to meet new people and advertise to sell/buy items (via chat).
    4. The power arena talisman is a powerful temporary talisman that’s completely free. The stats improve as you attend more power arenas. It’s a nice talisman to have for any new/noob but also for veteran player and will greatly help your PVE adventures.

You can attend a maximum of 3 power arena’s every day. If you lose 3 power arenas you get the same rewards as when you would have won one. The normal rewards for losing 3 or winning 1 PA are 6x certificate fragments and 10 power badges. If you however succeed in obtaining at least 10 points (monster or PVP, bother work) or more you will get another 6 certificate fragments. The certificate fragments can be exchanged for certificates, which are required for the quests (in the crafting studio) to upgrade your Power Arena Talisman. (The basic talisman can be bought in the Badge Exchange Centre (2 crossed swords right side of your screen) for 50 Power badges).

    Guild & Township Battle:
Guilds are an important aspect of R.O.H.A.N. They play an important role in the social aspect of the game, after all Rohan is an online MMORPG and made to be played together with or against others. There are pros and cons to joining a guild and I will briefly summarise them here.

The pros of a guild are definitely the benefits of making it much easier to join a party, finding people to do dungeon runs with and in general just to make friends. It is also easier to sell or buy items, ask for a price-check on an item and get help when you are in trouble (PVP wise). You are able to work together with your guild during events and such which generally means you’ll obtain better rewards or a higher rank. Together you stand stronger than you would alone.

The cons of a guild are that you'll be easily identified as a target by enemy guilds, many of whom will kill you on sight (KOS). Joining one of the top guilds in Rohan will almost certainly put a target on your back by one of the other top guilds.

The township battle (TSB) is a weekly event in which guilds compete for a cut of the total amount of tax (crone) generated in the week to come (this tax is deposited on the guild’s treasury). The township battle consists of PVP and strategically capturing and destroying strongholds. The guild who, in the end holds at least one stronghold & has most points will win the TSB. Take in mind that, even though a guild might be ahead in points, if they do not, at least have 1 stronghold in their possession when the TSB ends, they cannot win.

The TSB has an entrance limit of 18 players (for each guild). Generally, the top guilds have a roster of players who are deemed qualified enough to participate. As a new player (joining a top guild) you will have to prove yourself before you’ll be allowed by your guild-master to participate in this event. There are no real personal rewards for winning the TSB other than the fame of your guild’s name on every NPC in game for a week and a mediocre TSB costume.

    Item Mall Recommendations:

If you’re a new or returning player with some money to spend, looking at the item mall and the vast number of choices you have, can make it hard to make a wise choice.

I want to get started with the fact that there are basically 3 categories in the item mall. Permanent items, timed items and consumables. All three categories are useful at any stage of the game but as a starting or returning players some items are more useful than others. For example, starting out as a low-level character, the base stats an item gives (for example 175 all stats) will be more useful for you than a % melee pattern. Similarly, it might be more useful to buy some XP boosts to level up faster compared to gaining a bit more power.

It is important to take in mind that there are sales with discounted % on certain categories almost every weekend. It is wise to wait for a sale and stock up on items. Patience will save you money.

    Must haves to start with:
    1. 4 socket costume head + body
    2. 30D costume patterns (175 all stats, 250 (of your class main stat), 10,000 HP, 15% XP)
    3. 400% XP seal (3-7-15D)
    4. XP title such as Seeker of Knowledge
    5. Multiple 100% Ancient Skill Enhancement Stones
    6. Permanent Monkey (loot pet)
    7. Hero’s Seal Package (15D) (This will greatly increase your power and survivability for 15 days)

    Expanding your power:
    1. Buying tradable items such as +1 Enhancement Ticket (up to +10) to sell in-game for crones
    2. Buying transcended weapon/guarder/shield socket stones
    3. Buying abradants/WRS/ARS to reinforce armour/rings/guarder/shield
    4. Full 7s (100% Ancient Skill Enhancement Stones)

    Endgame layout:
    1. All of the aforementioned items
    2. A lot of crones in order to buy permanent talismans from other players (ones mentioned before such as the universal talisman or transcended talisman)
    3. Transcended armour socket stones.
    4. Stacks of Hero’s and Champion’s Seals
    5. XP scrolls & Seals

Gachas are a unique way of ‘’gambling’’ to obtain specific in game items, usually very powerful. Rohan has gachas such as Royal Sword and Scratch Feud which generally have very good prizes. Take in mind that the rate to obtain these prizes is low and unless you plan on spending hundreds of dollars to MAYBE obtain a powerful prize, you are better off spending your money on the item mall.

    Item Build Recommendations:

This section will contain 3 different builds, low, medium and top tier. These levels relate to the amount of money you have to spend (or time & dedication) to get your character to the described itemised state.

Low Tier build (cheap & fast):
    - Chimera armour set (few million crones from NPC in craft)
    - Ferken weapon (from starting package)
    - PVP pendants (200 PA power badges) (Possibly +6 from free ARS obtained in game)
    - PVE pendants (10 personas of a specific kind) (Possibly +6 from free ARS obtained in game)
    - Chimera guarder (bought with crones from another player)
    - Blood Pact talisman (NPC quest)
    - Party Rune (NPC quest)
    - Prevention Mask (NPC quest)
    - Elemental Talisman (25 personas of each kind, NPC quest in Elemental dungeon)
    - IM goodies obtained through system event farming, login events, GM events etc.

Medium Tier build (some $ & time):
    - 4 Socket costume with patterns
    - Transcended Opaniel armour set
    - Transcended Opaniel weapon
    - Boss drop set (such as Blade of Ancient Darkness) / Chakra set (low stage)
    - Transcended Opaniel Guarder
    - Aforementioned talismans (low tier build) but high reinforced (+)
    - Socket stones for all aforementioned items
    - All the important skills/buffs 7’s
    - Max power arena title
    - Rare Fire Fox or Rare Lion King

Top Tier build (a lot of $ & time):
    - All items considered in the low & medium tier builds
    - All talismans considered in this guide, with high reinforcement (+)
    - All timed talismans such as Hero/Champ seals, Sea relic, book of the beginning
    - Verdict stage chakras+12-18
    - All armour/guarder/weapon/shield items +12-18
    - IM XP scrolls/seals party & solo
    - Every item slotted with optimal socket stones from the IM
    - Goddess Silva pet(s)
    - 1k title(s)
    - Spare cash left to invest into gachas/new game updates in order to stay on top when new items are released

    Making money:

There are/will be more extensive guides out there which cover this topic, however in this guide I will briefly summarise the most conventional methods to make crones. Take in mind that most of these methods work better if you use multiple characters at once. (You are allowed to multi-log clients even though the game itself doesn’t support multi-logging).

    Merching:

Merching is a method in which a player buys an item at a lower price and sells it (at any given time past the point of purchase) for a higher price. Two things are very important when merching, the first one being the turnover rate of an item and the second one being the net profit after selling it.

    Further explanation:

    1. If an item has a high turnover rate, you can merch many of these items in a short timeframe which means that each item might yield only a low net profit but the accumulated net profit of all these merched items versus the time you put in is still high (due to the high turnover)

    2. If an item has a very low turnover rate you can’t merch many of these items in a short timeframe which means your accumulated net profit may not be very high versus the time you spent merching. However, these items might increase greatly in price which means you don’t need a high turnover rate to make a good amount of money

    Examples of explanation 1 & 2:
Advanced seal upgrade stones are bought and sold in large amounts at a certain time, the price ranges from 1b to 1,5b crone. You buy 100 advanced seal upgrade stones (over the course of a few weeks) for 100b (1b each) and sell them for 150b (1,5b each). Making 50b profit in a few weeks. High turnover, low net profit, high accumulative net profit.

You buy a Universal Talisman for 300b, after a month the price increased to 400b and you sell it with 100b profit. Low turnover, high net profit, low accumulative net profit.

When merching it is wise to invest in both item types 1 & 2 to spread the risk of items devaluating. Never merch with only 1 kind of items, you might lose a lot of money. It is also wise to first save up a good amount of crone before you start merching, you’re going to need a starting capital in order to spread your risk as well as being able to buy a bargain when you spot one.

    Selling Item-Mall items for crones:
This one is very simple, buy tradable items from the Item Mall for RPs ($) and sell them in game for crones. Most common items used are:
    - +1 Enhancement Ticket Up to 10 Enhancement (IM)
    - Talisman Refine Dye
    - Elemental Dungeon Entrance (IM)
    - Fine Amulet Dye

    Farming system event items:
There are always system events active. A system event enables world drop loot in all monsters in Rohan (a few instances are exempted). These world drops can be gathered at any level and are required for a quest. This quest will give you a box, when you open this box, you get items at random, some of which may be sold for a lot of crones. Some players login with a lot of different characters and farm these system event items and either sell the boxes, or open them and sell the loot. (I would recommend to sell the boxes)

    Farming time jewels:
In game you have a small icon which says ‘’Hunting Bonus’’ When this icon is full you obtain a box. This box gives you a certain amount of time jewels. These time jewels are used in a quest to obtain various boxes which can give very valuable items. Some players login with a lot of different characters and farm these time jewels and either sell the boxes, or open them and sell the loot. (I would advise to sell the boxes)

    Farming mirror dungeon bosses:
Mirror dungeon bosses are tough and won’t be accessible immediately. They have a long respawn time (hours) but they are worth keeping track of. These bosses can drop valuable rings, bags, exchange tickets and more. Once you killed a boss, you can keep track of the cooldown time and kill it again when it respawns.

    Elemental Dungeons:
Elemental dungeons are a great way of making XP at any level but are also a good source of income. When there are 777 XP pouch events, one can run elemental dungeons (without a full party) and, when rolling 7-7-7 sell some of the slots to other players. It’s also a good source of income due to the crone rolls or due to the IP/Box rolls. Some of the box roll items are tradable and can be sold, similarly, the IP tickets are tradable. This is not the fastest way to make money and not for the lazy players (you have to actively play) but you are able to make money while also levelling your char.

    Scam prevention:

    1. Never borrow stuff or share account info with anyone, never.
    2. Always double check (I triple check) everything you trade, including the name on the other end of the trade, the stats of the items in trade and the amount of crones/Rp’s involved.
    3. NEVER accept offers which seem too good to be true and require you to either pay up first, basically anything that doesn't involve the instant in game trading mechanism can be corrupted and you risk getting scammed.
    4. When buying from chars that sit shop CHECK every price manually before you buy the item, some people alter the price so it looks cheap in F (item search) or they put an item with another 0 added to the price.
    5. Don't use any other currency’s besides RPS/ECASH/Crone/Items/IP.
    6. Don't be greedy and buy an item ''cheap'' because you just got a PM another person needs that item. You think you'll make money as middle man but as soon as you bought the item the second buyer will be gone because it was just an alt account of the seller.
    7. Don't login into keygens or whatever, get a proper virus scanner and don't reply to people approaching you through email or social media, claiming they have discount vouchers or free items.
    8. Nobody from the PWI staff will ask you for your account info, personal info, email etc. Any person who does is most likely a scammer.

    Ban Prevention:
    1. You accepted the TOS (Terms of Service) when you created your account. Accepting the TOS leads to, you signing away any right or claim to your account or items/characters within that account. You can get banned and no reason has to be given. Obviously, you will not get banned at random but if GMs find a reason (which is open to interpretation of said GM) they can ban you and there is nothing you can do about it.
    2. Don’t try to scam players.
    3. Do not abuse bugs, if you find a bug, report it through the support system. If you abuse it, there’s a good chance you’ll receive a ban for it.
    4. Do not try to abuse certain in-game systems such as farming Hunting Bonus on immortal guards. This is not allowed and will get you banned.
    5. When participating in events FOLLOW THE RULES. GMs are allowed to kick or ban players who don’t follow rules. The rules are generally mentioned at the beginning of an event.
    6. Be mindful of what you say in game, every in-game chat leaves a chat log which can be traced back to you. In some cases, this can lead to temporary or permanent suspensions.
