1. Introduction:
> What is the Hunter Kit?
A Hunter Kit activates an AI (Artificial Intelligence) system that enables automated Hunting. Unseal it by double-clicking, but beware, the timer starts upon unsealing.
> How to Obtain
There's are a lot of ways to get Hunter Kit In-Game since the vast majority of this item type is tradable. These are all the available Hunter Kits in REV. As the duration increases, their acquisition becomes more challenging:
* You can recycle the 8hrs version to obtain a Hunter Kit with more duration, check the Recycle Recipes at the end of the guide.
* From time to time we hold special events where you can find more methods, but these are the basic ones.
* Not all Hunter Kits are tradable in their sealed form, bear that in mind.
2. How to Use (Tabs):
When you click the Hunter Kit Icon, a window like the picture below will appear and ask you if you want to use it:
> Pattern Set Up
The Pattern Set Up tab in the Hunter Kit interface allows players to define the behavior of the AI associated with the Hunter Kit. Here's an explanation of the options available in this tab:
Hunting Mode Setup
Autotarget Monster (Agressive): Choosing this option activates the AI to search for the nearest monster and initiate attacks actively. The character will proactively engage in combat with the closest available target.
Only Target Attacking Monster (Passive): Opting for this mode puts the AI in a passive state. The character will refrain from actively seeking out monsters but will counterattack when attacked by a monster. This behavior is particularly suitable for characters with a support role, such as healers like the priest, who may prefer a more defensive approach.
Hunting Radius/Target Char
Hunt within safe areas (Recommended): This option allows the hunting assistant to set a specific hunting radius, preventing the character from wandering into unwanted distant areas. After reaching a specified distance, the Hunter Kit is activated, and the character will return to the starting point.
Hunt anywhere (Optional): This setting doesn't restrict the character to a designated area and allows free hunting within a large field without a specified radius.
Battle and Buff Ranks
Battle Priority (After): In this mode, the hunter kit, after successfully defeating the targeted monster during the hunt, buffs will be applied. This setting ensures that the character focuses on battling first and then enhances their abilities with buffs afterward.
Buff Priority (During): The Hunter Kit prioritizes the use of buffs during the hunt. The character will apply buffs first and then resume the hunt. This mode allows for strategic use of buffs to enhance the character's capabilities before engaging in combat.
> Set Skill
This section is dedicated to configuring your character's skills for use when the Hunter Kit (HK) is activated. It encompasses a range of skills, including attack skills, healing skills, elemental skills, and consecutive skills.
Attack skill (Skill Order): When the Hunter Kit (HK) is initiated, the AI will execute these attack skills in the specified order. For instance, if the skills are arranged as Piercing Root, Bleeding, and Double Strike, the AI will cycle through them during combat. If the first skill is on cooldown, the AI will skip it and proceed with the next in line.
Heal Skill Setup
Individual Healing Setup : The left slots are designated for the character's healing skills or buffs. For example, placing skills like Sprint or Longshot in the left slots allows customization based on HP conditions. If set at 50%, when the character's HP drops to half, the AI will utilize the assigned skill, be it a healing skill or a buff. Players have the flexibility to set two different skills for their character, adjusting the percentages as needed. For instance, setting one skill at 30% and another at 50% ensures that the AI selects the appropriate skill based on the character's HP conditions.
Party Member Healing Setup: The right slots mirror the individual setup but are dedicated to party members. The AI monitors party members' HP, and when it drops to the specified percentage (e.g., 50%), the AI will use the designated skill to heal that party member. It's crucial to choose skills for party member healing, avoiding self-buffs or attack skills. Examples of suitable skills include Heal or Group Heal from the Elf race-
Elemental and Consecutive Skill
Elemental Skill (Mana Drain): Allows players to decide whether to activate attribute skills that have a continuous mana consumption. This setting provides control over skills that may have an ongoing mana drain, allowing players to strategically manage their character's resources during hunts.
Consecutive Skill (During): If a skill is placed in Slot 1, and another in Slot 2, the AI will prioritize the use of the skill in Slot 2 only after the skill in Slot 1 has been activated. For example, if you set Double Strike in Slot 1 and Piercing Root in Slot 2, the AI will consistently follow up the execution of Double Strike with Piercing Root.
> Buff Set ups
Is pretty much the same as the Attack skill setup only now it's for buffing your character or your party member:
Buff Skill Setup: Buff skills can be registered by dragging just like attack skills, and can be canceled by double-clicking the left mouse button.
If you want to give a shared buff (a buff that can be used by other players) to a party member, check the box to the left of skill registration and the buff will automatically be cast on other party members who do not have the buff. Guild skills can also be registered when registering buff skills, and when the buff disappears, it is automatically recast.
Aura Skills Setup : aura buff is similar to elemental, you can activate or deactivate it and it will drain your mana if you activate it. The difference between aura and elemental is just, aura usually works like buff(i.e to strengthen your character), also if it's a party aura, then the effect will be for all party members too..
> Misc Set up
Potion Usage: Register potion items by dragging them from the inventory and placing them in the desired slot within the Hunter Kit interface. This ensures automatic usage based on the conditions you set.
Pick Up Item (Recommended): Your character will pick up the loots dropped from a monster, just check the box.
Buff Scroll Usage (After): If you have a scroll item like Growth Scroll boosting EXP, you can put them in this slots. for a queue. example: if now you have Pdef scroll activated and you put another Pdef scroll in the slot, later when your Pdef scroll buff expires, the AI will automatically use the Pdef scroll in the queue.
Pet Feeder (During): You can put your Organic Animal Meal and check the box. Every time your pet is hungry, the AI will feed it automatically.
