Why can't we use battle pets?

I've participated in many warzones, and each time I am forced to remove my battle pet. Why?

The battle pet does not attack players, you cannot target a battle pet, and everyone has equal access to them. A battle pet is an item of equipment, much like a sword, dagger or pet. So what reason do you have to justify this ruling?

I spend time and money to train my battle pet, so not only it can be stronger, but I can too. Much like someone would refine their weapon, or feed their pet... I train my battle pet. So why am I prevented from using what I worked hard for?

You may as well say, "No pets allowed" or "no weapons". Isn't that pretty much the same as saying no battle pets?

Hello. I think this is already an issue before but I think it is alright not to have a battle pet on PVP's since it is also stated on our site that battle pet helps only to kill monsters but not for PvP purpose and PVP means Player versus player not anything else.
