Forum acting strange

I have noticed the login state in forum is often not displaying (and working) properly. While I have clicked the Log Off button, all the functions related to my account are still available.

For example right now I am posting this thread while being logged off:

Besides posting I can also view and send messages, etc.

I have cleared browser cookies/cache and still same. If someone else were using the same IP (or whatever method the forum uses to recognise me) it could also pose a threat to my account.

Edit:
I tried using a proxy and it still enables me to post messages being logged off. What is this?
