Apostles (Support Priest) are vital for their Critical Buff.

Battle priests Templar have a different role. They can kind of aoe now and debuff mobs defense and accuracy. But they destroy darkness element mobs and reduce their defense to nothing.

Depends on what your trying to achieve. But Apostles are needed in both situations. (As they would be helping the Battle priest with the Crit buff)

Just do what you think is the most fun.
