Whenever I press the "play game" button the launcher just says "self update error!!!" and this only just happened after the patch in april 4...so yeah any advice to solve this?

try disabling your firewall or your antivirus before you patch the game. :)

You must reinstall seal online and make sure you run it from the autoupdate file in the main folder, and check that the SO3D file is exist and then it will works .
