Turned off Event?

Why GM turned off forge event? It was supposed to ;east till 30.01, why then it was turned of at 28.01 without even telling players, so they would'n lose all their gear and money? (not to mention lost time).
GM gives a **** in game and give a typical answer "after checking the buff, it is still on" - NO WAY
Why? I farmed parts for 20 talis (yes, 20, which means parts for 40 Etton Helmets in my case) Turned out i made only 12 Etton helmets (there were times i failed 6 rare in a row) and all 12 Talis failed. Lost 5b and 2h of farming, but yeah, GM will tell that it is still on. It was on yesterday, what i made 3 on 5 attempts for Tali.

Men its no +30 to forge but -30 :)
Yesterday i have 7 fail in a row making Opaniel Boots (and yeah i use 10% chance stone)

this event is just a mockery
