Here are the problems with Dhans:
Their damage is high yes, and it is VERY sudden, as you should expect from an Assassin. Assassins also have tricks up their sleeve that they play right at the start to ensure their enemy's defeat... but if they screw up by getting the jump on the enemy, they should be screwed. Assassins are NOT supposed to have longevity in a prolonged head-to-head fight. This is the issue with Dhans.
Dhans can ALWAYS strike first. Dark Elves' Dark eyes let's you see hidden opponents 15m ahead, guess what, Avenger's Death Call can pull you from 20m away. Half Elf, Dekan, and Dark Elf detect are only 15m also. Fine, there's no way to get the first strike on a smart Dhan, but when the Dhan is caught, he's screwed, right?
No. Dhans have a ridiculous amount of ways to escape when they start losing. They strike you out of hide mode. They use Mana Burn, Health Burn, Death call, and you're not dead? They can use Silence to hit you for 38 more damn seconds while you basically can't do anything. Once Silence is over... they're toast right? CONFUSION POUCH.... and then when that's over... MANA BURN, HEALTH BURN, DEATH CALL, SILENCE, over and over and over. If you're anything but a Ranger/Scout, then you have no way of catching them when they run away. There's also the whole Seal Square issue. It's an endless loop where they can keep you disabled because they screwed up.
Dhans have too much utility to keep them alive in adverse conditions. Let's say an Int Dekan and a Ranger are chasing after you at the same time. Who would you rather be in this situation, An Agi Dhan or a Str Guard? The Str Guard has MORE defense, MORE HP, MORE block rate, but he'd be the one more likely to die. If you're a Dhan, all you do is this.
Death Call Ranger, Pouch them. They are useless for 26s.
Run to the Dekan, Silence them, they can't use Breath or Health Drain. Use Transformation, now their regular hits are useless. You have 20s to kill them in the square. An Int Dekan that can't stun you or use Health Funnel, Mana To Health, WILL die in 20s to an Agi Pred, with or without Mana Guard. Now you kill the Ranger with Mana Burn/Health Burn. If you can't, just Sprint Away with a Mobility Weapon.
Dhans MUST be punished for getting caught or not killing their enemy quickly. This is what should be done.
Predator's Awareness should NOT release from stuns, only roots.
Storm Assault gives an absolutely ridiculous amount of block rate. It's more than enough that Avengers have Shadow, but for Avengers to be able to avoid 90% of all Physical Attacks is asinine. Dhans shouldn't have their own version of Stone Skin. Guardians and Defenders have Stone Skin because they are slow, can't hide, and can't run away. They are ALWAYS exposed. Dhans can, and should never have been given the parry boost from Storm Assault. Hell, REMOVE the Parry rate entirely from Storm Assault, and Avengers would be just fine. Assassins should stay Assassins, not tanks.
Silence should have its duration GREATLY reduced. 40 seconds of not being able to use skills is ridiculous. Make it last 3s per level with a 180s cooldown time.
Confusion Pouch's duration should be lowered to 3s per level, and it should NOT work against Roha's Blessing.
There is also another elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about, or even knows about.
MORTAL RISING
After 9+ years, the developers of the game STILL don't want to make the benefit of making it level 6 and 7, common knowledge in the skill description. At level 6, Mortal Rising gives a 20% boost to all critical damage. At level 7, it gives a 40% boost. Dhans are walking around with 5k Agi, doing 20,000+10,000 crits easily. Level 7 Mortal Rising boosts that to 28,000+14,000.
REMOVE THIS DAMAGE BOOST. It's like Dhans using two +20% Critical Blow Scrolls at once, and it never should have been this way.
