[Ended] Spring Playtime Event!

Hi Rohanians!

We are glad to introduce you to our very first Playtime Event, celebrating spring season! The time and prizes are the next ones:

Take notice that the prizes are accumulative. But that´s not all! For the top 3 players with more hours during the event, we´ll send a Dino Terror (30 Days) Mount!

In order to participate in this event, you should consider some rules:

*The sum of hours will be account based, so you can use any of your characters.
*The event will take place from May 12th 01:00 PDT to May 26th 24:00 PDT.
*Have at least 1 Character on level 40 or above on the account.
*Rewards will be sent to Event Inventory on May 30th, after the scheduled maintenance.

Yess play 21hrs 42min per day only for 14days and You will get 60 insygnia, Great event for Cyborgs and Bots.

It Clearly says accumulative. it would be 100 insig with both packs.

Spring started on March 20. Why the frig are you guys launching a "Springtime Login Event" when there is just a little over a month of Spring left?

If you are gonna do a season-based event, then start it at the beginning of the season so folks have a decent chance of collecting the damn prizes!

BTW: Is Open Beta Test finished yet? Or is this server going to stay "Beta" until you close or merge it?

Call me silly, but I nearly always log off the pc when I leave the house for an extended period of time, similar as to when I go to sleep.

Maybe I have ADHD, I don't know :D - either how, I think the prices to be ridiculous for the amount of time required and would have preferred a system with gradually and reasonably increasing login hours required, with actual rewarding gifts at the end.

But that's just me.
Anyway, even if I didn't insist on logging off the pc, I'd still not partake out of principle.

BS event, do they rly think som1 play this game 22hr per day? AFK more for 22 or 24hrs is just soo stupid it's just empty online numbers. Or maybe they need 2 prove someone how "big online" this version of rohan have? I was one of "nolifers" b4 but now fk it, just bother to log in on my account just for daily 2insygnia lol

Haha asif I would go to McDonalds. Trust me, money is not an issue here. I kinda put my change in RPS. 250 dollar/month. Can do more but IM hasnt got more to offer and selling Grade B is fun but when you hit 500 million I'd like to buy stuff and forge/refine instead of making more crones.

My gaming box pulls 250 watts of power from the wall @idle. If I work it hard it pulls almost double that.
Leaving it running 24/7 would be at least like leaving a 250W incandescent light bulb burning 24/7.
Since I have to pay my own electricity bills, burning that much power just to earn crones or in-game shit is not an option. Nor do I want to dedicate a laptop to it. I mean c'mon, I have a lot more to do in life than play this silly game (like troll these forums which is more fun than playing RBF).

I don't think the question is about being rich or not.

Ie: I have no issue paying €100 for a good dinner, whilst I find €10 at McDonald's an absolute waste..
But this is the internet, ergo everyone is rich^2.

Fact of the matter is that the rewards are, in my opinion, absolutely nowhere near rewarding for the "effort/energy" required.
They're rather... poor?

True. The rewards suck but as I said I am not in it for the rewards. Its more a bonus I get for things I already do.

And rich depends how you define it. Compared to most normal people I am quite rich. Compared to people like Bill Gates I am really really really poor.

But seriously saying playing Rohan will make you rich, is silly. Playing Rohan will never (legally) make you a penny.

Yea sorry. I've been to inter and received 50+ Insigs in 1 run. And it sure as sh1t didnt take 150 hours.

These event rewards are bullsh1t.

I understood just fine. You didn't get the points I was trying to make.

Playing Rohan 24/7 selling "b" stones doesn't make you rich. That just gets you crones. Playing 24/7 makes PlayWith rich. And you poorer (You are paying for those "b" stones with your purchased RPs). It doesn't matter how much money you manage to make irl. It is not Rohan that is making that money for you. That's the point.

WELL WELL WELL looks like i was right again gms you screwed it up like always you say your giving 25 of those rainbow rice cakes but guess what you gave us 1 not 25. now as im absolutely positive that you will delete this comment and lock the threadd to stop flames be aware that the comunity that you depend on for you pay check has grown tired of this type of crap. NO we will not submit tickets for it you screwed it up now you fix it and as i said before if your doing a frigging event get the damned prizes right andf run the event like it is announced we diddnt participate in an event to not get the prizes we were told we would this happens with every event and quite frankly im getting tired of it.

How do you expect them to fix it if you refuse to submit a ticket and leave them oblivious to any mistake they (possibly) made?

Oh i did submit a ticket and they fixed it that is not my point here... My point simply put is that this is an every event occurrence, at some point you have to start to think that its not so much an error as it is an instance of how much will they not recognize or how much can we get away with... i commented during the event on an event thread that this would happen and they deleted the comment and locked the thread guess what i was right.... end of discussion i called it long before it happened and if you cant see a pattern your blind.
