this problem has been going on for years everyone knows, i sent multiple tickets about but now that im running dual monitors it's even more annoying, when running rohan in windowed mode when you go to actually move the window it spazzes out and starts opening and closing your other tabs and turning black and flickering, this **** needs to be fixed, anyone ever figure out how cuz we all know the gm's are ****ing useless on this issue.
Thats a graphics card related issue when running the game if i am not mistaken. I have it and have been experienced it in pservers and official servers to.
nope, it does it for years and ive had 2 amd cards and 2 nvidia cards since then, and still nothing fixed.
The problem is caused by their ongoing use of an outdated version of directx. Microsoft has been evolving directx by leaps and bounds since version 9c. The problem comes from the slowly deteriorating support of the old dx 9c APIs they used. With each new version of directx, Microsoft changes the way those old, deprecated APIs work under the covers. What ends up happening is this glitching we are all seeing when you do anything with Rohan's DirectX based windows. Microsoft has since deprecated those old APIs and moved on to newer, higher performing equivalents in their DX11 and DX12 versions.
It's a shame that PW has lost the developer talent needed to fix the low level aspects of their client. I'm sure there are a lot of directx devs out there that are familiar with the newer, more robust APIs, but I doubt they (PW) will bother spending the moneh needed to hire a few of them to upgrade their flaky client.
So sad. :(
I've heard some lip flapping about a re-written client (not getting my hopes up on that rumor). If they do, hopefully they will use the newer DX versions.
well thats bull**** they need to fix it thats ridiculous, i just set up my dual monitors and i cant even drag a client from one monitor to the other because this shi,tty client.

a luck you don't try to stream this game, you would have put a bullet in your own head to have the client cloned on OBS...

there IS a way to move them effectively when you're running 2 monitors...
there's some software on Steam that allow to generate like you have 2 sessions of windows opened (so 1 by monitors), sadly these aren't free but it works
