Pray for the car. I've killed it ._.
Awch thats gonna leave a scar :(
LOL - auwch, I'd cry if that was mine. Didn't see the pillar(?) - that's going to be some paintjob there..
Some turd already rammed my front with his effin towbar whilst parking (and just ran off), but luckily he hit the front numberplate so it kinda hides the dent now >.> (not going to call insurance on that)
That happens when you order a little car and they don't have one there in time.
Then you get a boat.
And stupid females with boats in tiny foreign garages tend to end baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
Inattention is the way which leave u without money
Wasn't mine but I've cried anyway. I don't have to pay anything but it was such a pretty car :( Feel so bad for it.
That's the car itself, I didn't make a full picture but it's the same as this one:

And no, no pillar. The garage exit was REALLY tiny and had walls on both sides. I thought I can take the curve like I do with my own car - but yah, I couldn't :c
So I hit the wall with the left hand side ._.
Yeh, I never can make full turns in any (underground) garage :x I very often gotta back up at least once, sometimes twice to get around the corner. Really sucks if it's downhill (or uphill for that matter) and the ppl behind you don't realize what you're up to and just keep moving very close behind you and then you're stuck in the garage till the car behind (and the one behind them.. and behind them them... and by then behind those..) start moving back.
I have anxiety issues, but only when driving in garages tehee.
P.s.: don't worry, next time they won't give you a big car - I'm sure of it LOL
I can already hear it.
"You're not used to handle big things, eeeeh?"
D'uh.
You should give people more credit ;)
"Good" thing is:
a close friend of mine managed to do the same this morning - but with his own car. I guess that's karma. We are so going out on Saturday to suffer together xD
It's more painful if it's your own, I guess. Dents you can sorta get out if it's not too severe, but that paint.. costly repair (or wrap it, but ye).
I guess my repair will be around 5k. It's a LOT to paint and the door is pushed in as well. His isn't that bad but still around 2k probably. Sigh.
That's at least one +18 accessory, sheez!
Women chauffeurs are like stars in the sky: you can see them, but they can't see you.

xD LAWL.
I'm not even bad at parking or driving, it's working fine usually. But my car isn't nearly 5 meters long :c so it reacts completely different when turning around. So yah, if it was 1 less I would have gotten out perfectly xD
Proves again: size DOES matter.

TBF, I drove the company car up in reverse on one of these (bit steeper though)

hard enough to be on 3 wheels instead of 4.
In my defense, I was still driving "L" (student)
Oops! Ah well, happens even to the best xD
I'm still in my eh "trying time" or whatever it's called. Those 2 first years where they are really strict with you. Glad that doesn't affect it since it's not a real accident or so. Otherwise I might have had to redo my licence completely. Yippie.
Ah ye, they debated to do a similar system here but nothing changed so far. Atm It's a whole different system here.
You get to choose between two options (after doing theory):
1) Pay 1200 EUR for 20 hours lesson-course, drive around with an L-sticker for at least 3 months (alone, not in weekends or holidays between 22.00hr and 06.00hr) and do the exam within 18 month. If you fail (too many times) and you exceed those 18m, you have to redo the whole shebang.
2) Don't pay, but learn with a family member (or friend) for a maximum of 36 months.
If your theory license is no longer valid, you can't do the exam anymore so you have to redo that as well.
Failing the exam twice => forced to do a course (and pay for it) of 6 hours. You can do as many as you want as long as it's within the 18 (or 36) months for as long as you have money.
It's a very silly system. Say I do my 20hours, I can drive on the street alone with a sticker. I drive like that for 3 months. I drive to the examcentre and do my exam. I drive badly and are deemed unfit to get my license, i failed the exam. I am then sent back home (I'm driving!!) in order to practice more. I cannot understand why, if one is deemed unfit to get his license, he can drive back home and is sent back onto the street to practice.. I did it in one go after the 20hrs anyway, but there are enough examples out there..
What does the L stand for? Loser? Hurr xD
:D we have "starters" sticker. I wasn't allowed to put one on our car since my bf is driving for 8 years now and would have to drive the same car lol.
Wasn't allowed, because he didn't want to drive with that sticker or because it's against law? xD
Not using one here is cause for a hefty fine (but then again, what isn't these days? Fart with your windows open and you're hanging already)
I earned my first fine in Germany of all places, btw >.>. FU
girls + cars = 100% failure, LOL
just like in Rohan where Walter +6 + Walter +6 = 100% failure
Never let a girl drive a car.
Problem solved.
Practice makes progress :D
Lawl. I liked the car a lot though. Really nice driving experience. Just gave it back, they were completely relaxed lol. "Aw, don't worry - happens sometimes blabla" o.o
Lesson's learned anyway. Do BIIIIIG circles with BIIIIIIG cars, then you're good xD
Sounds like a plan. Smart PeJay :3
My first car was a hatchback (which was nice driving in corners and city).
My second is a midsize-sedan (4.85m) with all the whistles and bells and to be honest, I wouldn't trade it for a smaller one any time soon despite the parking issues in towns or underground garages (besides, if you're too lazy, it parks itself anyway). Plus it looks nice for business :P
