So I want to have a poll about what people think about upgraded weapons and about what the next tier should look like. Feel free to share ideas or thoughts below.

Dhans and HalfElfs are hitting pretty much hard compared to Giants and Mages that have been left behind, Dekans are still to be seen, Guards are fine, Elfs and Trinities still to be seen.
Last batch of Upgrds went a little too far with the damage output they are doing right now so I have to say new Tier with lower stats but higher defense with specific weapons for that specific build or class.
I spoke to karazy and I told him yesterday.... you raise the bar and there is no turning back. Resell the 3.0s and leave it at that, balancing the game through upgrade stats is just stupid and its what got us into this mess in the 1st place. I mean fk there is a reason why you are not in charge of balance and your korean overlords are.
Just look at what happened some goof at playwith USA was like "oh agi dhans are so underpowered lets give them a new upgrade with broken stats" then agi dhan buff comes out and now you are like WHAT DO WE DO NOW PANIC MODE ACTIVATED! Same with the rofl 90% range attack on xbow.
Simply put playwith USA has 3 jobs:
1: Keep the lights on
2: Sell the things people want so people dont resort to using the black market
3: Keep us entertained
Now if you want to talk about balancing items from a game economy standpoint.... thats something the community should comment on.
The Game is already unbalanced enough, So the fair thing to do is to resell the weapons so more player can get their hands on them insted of just a choosen few.
Reselling 3.0 upgs does not seem like a good idea to me, some of these weapons are totally OP especially now with the balancing patches. The Koreans won't just 1,2,3 change skills and stuff based on which upgs are sold here.Quote:

The Epics/Upgrades egg has already been cracked. There is no way to stuff the Epic/Upgrades back into the egg and pretend it never broke. They are out there and made a mess of the game.
PWi - If you are gonna sell upgrades, then sell upgrades and stop pussiefooting around with the subject. The way you guys have totally clusterfrakked this game they are no longer a luxury but an absolute necessity at the end game. In-game forged weapons are simply no longer competitive anymore. You guys made that bed now you have to sleep in it.

This game is broken enough as it is to be worried that 1 more class is gonna be broken.
Honestly maybe you are right we need more broken classes can I get an onyx upg staff with 1500 int/psy/vit, 300% magic attack/hp/mp, 100% hp/mp abs, 70% dd, 120% attack speed, 120% mobi and most importantly..... 500% armor def.
Or just move to another game.

Well it is never too bad to see what everyone else thinks cause we all know how not asking ended up to be like(Epics/Upgrds).
Anyways we already know what you and Mark where gonna say(I do agree most of it) but lets not forget that there is more people to see their thoughts on.

What we do know about this game...first of all...PW is never going to backtrack on sold items and nerf them...so whatever bull**** is in the game right now we are stuck with...enjoy the ridiculous crit rates and attack speed on everything. What would I suggest for a fix? Merge Isen into Jainus and rename the server "Mistake." Start a new server named "Not A Mistake" with xp rates and drops like Jin, forging rates like Ran, and a cash shop/in game scrolls more like Isens, and allow people to transfer characters to the new server along with items excluding crones, weapons(maybe just load in level 100+ characters with a 30 day temporary weapon decent enough for farming so we aren't stuck with a bunch of weaponless high levels unable to farm weapon parts lol), and upgrade rings so everything people transfer over is in game drops or walters/talismans available in periodic events and there isn't any other pay to win cash shop gear wrecking the game. Problem solved...we have a server where xp is a bit more friendly, farming and forging is useful, and a second job isn't required to fund enchanting any gear. Allowing people to get on a server that isn't garbage and not have to start from scratch again would be the only way for them to make the idea of a new server even mildly appealing to anyone, and the only way they could salvage any credibility as a company who wants to put a decent game out there and not just continuously rape your bank account.
As far as upgrades going, they should sell upgrades 4.0 that are based on onyx base item and even more OP than 3.0, but only sell them on "Mistake" server.
Of course...PW would never implement this idea, because its a good idea, and they hate good ideas.
Its funny how you are still mad that I told them to merge. The merge was necessary if they ever wanted to balance the game. Its not my fault that playwith had new plans like making new upgrades and then taking class balance into their own hands with upg 3.0 just to get royally fked.Quote:

Sure lets keep it at glacial but you gotta understand there is no going back if 3.0 has the superior stats then we have to stay in line.
I agree that they should put for sale Epic 2.0 (glacial epic) and upg 3.0 again and some new upg 4.0 (taking as a model upg 1.0), but then they should stop here.
Because my feeling is that we are entering in a sort of spiral that is never ending... I know we entered already...
I am also for some epic rings in order to be able to compete with the overpriced boss drops.
Another thing is that the onyx weapons parts that mobs drop should be higher in atk, higher than any upg, to get at the end close to 100% or more whatever atk.
Any upg and epic weapon should not exceed 80% atk.

Not looking to make or thinking on any nerf actually but without that stats there is no going anywhere. Problem with Onyx weapons is that reinforcing them provides all pure atk and we dont need more pure atk from any item anymore.Quote:

I don't get why everyone and their grandmother must get an AoE per sé. It defeats the purpose of actual classes.
That aside, here's to defensive upgrades.
I'm all in for PvP defense on future weapons and shit.
The only pvp defense you need is enough firepower to kill him with 51k crits instead of his measly 50k crits.
Weapon stats wont save this game if anything what has to happen is we need that pvp armor with the secondary 30% dd source. Also crit resist would be nice.

We all know that the weapons that already exist wont be removed so reselling them or nerf the hell out of the already existing ones are the ONLY fair ways to go, my guess is that Gm's kinda wanna bring all servers under isen status aka make your own 3.0 look alike weapons with the same stats but that only last for 7 or 15 days......sigh

They are not interested in player satisfaction they just want your money.
