Cry about agi dhans all you want, fact remains they are but a one shot and pretty meaningless in group pvp.
Yes, they can pick you out and wreck you in a couple seconds - not unlike templars could.
But just like the days of old, they remain vulnerable for any long ranged and/or magical attacker such as rangers/scouts, warlocks, etc.
You can wreck a guardian if caught unawares - but have you ever been caught by a guardian? I tell you, it's no different.
True but I still think they overdid the balance patch, people reaching 65% critrate and killing full vit dekans in like 3 crits is not what I call balanced honestly....The real issue is upg rings and upg weapons (3.0 katar with 32% critrate) but you can't take that away so they should've kept that in mind while balancing agi dhans...Quote:

That's why as mentioned by a veteran in the other thread they used SD armors to prevent those kind of attacks like Invenom to reduce its damage..

it's not that simple, that way theyll be nerfed too hard. it's hard to balance a game in which some players are without upgs and some are with and also some are 115+50 and some 115+0 (bcs getting +50 is just.....taking years)....then you have the issue that there has to come an upg sale in which onyx upgs are gonna get sold....how to prevent the accumulating stat inflation on everything....Everyone is always yelling certain solutions but it's not as simple as people think, to balance this game. The wrongdoings from the past can't be undone. Even the GM's and developers don't know how to fix this game, they are trying but it's not fully successfull because too many factors come to play. Many players in this community wants those UPGraded weapons, no one will deny of course...
But still something have to be changed.. dont wanna wait another 10 years for a balance in this game..
The real problem with the balance patches now is Upgrads and stat inflation which Devs wont solve anytime soon so try to survive as much as you can or play a class that you actually like and is viable in PvP as well as PvE(Almost all of them are now) and go crack some heads.
By far Agi Dhans, Str Humans and Rangers are in the top of the food chain give one of those a shot if you like it go for it if not wait for the final patch and go for a test again. I took almost a year to test out all the classes I could think of before choosing one. My first one was Agi Dhan then Int Mage(Lock), then Priest before going Str scout, dex scout, str pred, agi pred and well you know the rest.
Here is a homework if you like: Try to play every class and choose what is the one you found more appealing to you. It is not easy but should give you an idea.

man, I got wrecked by a dhan with no fkin scrolls on just by invenom (because my crit immunity gives me 0 crit dmg) and I had 500k hp and 2xk pdef...
took him what? like 10 crits with fkin 50k invenom... seriously?? w/o crit immunity = 4-5 crits then dead... LOL
I know they needed some balance, but man... that's too much

Temps in the other hand are not assassins they are Support, DPS healers meaning they should be tanky and hard to drop not impossible.
Vit DK Hard to Drop but not impossible with the right tools, Silence, Mind exchange, etc etc etc.
Try something different if the strategy is not working. Agi Dhans should be an easy kill with any class with the right tools.
Ohh and don't forget that the best Agi dhan is not that which kills/hits the hardest it is that one which survives even in the worst cases ;D
Consider Agi dhan with a lot of Vit/Hp accs.

Knowing how to lock and not knowing how to lock is what makes most of the difference. You need to make a solid strategy if you're going to pvp not just tank and expect not to die.Quote:

It depends how much damage you or your opponent is making cause TDs only heal 100k and if it drops before those 10 secs or it hasn't reacted to the surprise atk, well it should drop...

Normal crits + invenom = ~100k dps plus atk spd should drop very fast.
DKs toxic potion, Locks Area Toxic Potion, Noirs Recovery disabling skill and Rangers Toxic Shot should disable the use of Potions and Detox.
Sadly Rush, Death Call and Shoulder Charge doesn't disable the use of Elixirs(TDs) when stunned, only normal potions :(
Um, don't you have your own 10sec teardrops? Btw as Rbn pointed out those are only good for 100K HP. If you are hitting the mofo 50-60K, that td is gone in a couple seconds - another couple seconds and you drop him.Quote:
