GO!!
If an upgrade sale comes out of it everyone will say yes except for a few complainers.
No ofc! Isen is empty ... why we need empty server? haha 10 players at isen with boss drop wanna boost it for +18 and thats all :D trololololol
If Isen is as empty as I see it every time i go and check it out then its a useless server taking space where our event server should be.
Yes Make that Merge + add Isen Systems to Jainus for new players and casuals :)
The echo of my last login a couple months ago, is still resonating in the vast emptiness that is called "Isen".
It's like a black hole, all the money that gets near it gets sucked up into the void.
Stay clear of it.
The Scrolls NPC, PA Mall and the Chimera accs that are set effects with 400[INT/STR/DEX], 400 Vit lvl50. Mostly based on Crones.
Should give starting and casual players an easier way to make progress than farming for eternity elemental dung.
The Crafting system isn't bad but because monsters damage is boosted in that server it makes it fails hard.
Jainus and Isen merge? fak no!
Just close Isen as a good idea that yet again PWYNKi for fakked up.
Let me know next time u planning to log on bro and i will give you a little tour, i would take it the most old rohan people ( myself included ) would judge the popularity of a server based on the activity at limestone in the middle of the day ( depending on your timezone ofcourse ), however...Isens population only gather at lime during summoning events or when people trashtalk and it ends in war lol,
when it comes to kioks and afk, and meeting spots most of the people go elsewhere, like vena, crafting studio, GH and ezker to name a few places :) all depending on the time ofcourse,
and if SERVER MERGE happens what would happen...????
Players from Isen will be just trolled out ( because they don't have any OP items as Jainus has) might be reason on they just gonna give up or will go with the flow( they will get used to it)
2nd scrolls from ISEN is just made for them since there are no such items as OP as in Jainus (accessories and some help NPC like the EXP when you reach level 50 additional 10 levels)
and Some CRONES helping NPC (killing a boss here is a hard thing if you don't have parties and some players here are nice compared to Jainus-harassing players)
3rd EXCHANGE MARKET CRONES ARE DIFFERENT IN VALUES UNLIKE ON JAINUS server).
last thing NO :D
forgot to vote.. LeL
I wanna read comments from Isen population 'cos all I see are comments from players in Jainus server. Any Isen spokesperson here? It's your time to shine!
that kenji fool is from isen but I guess hes 1/2 a person so we need another 1/2 a person to talk now.
It would be just like the Jin merge. Most people would just get mad and quit because all the time and money they put into their gear is now a complete waste as all their gear becomes junk status overnight, they get offered worthless compensation, and they get forced into the ****ty server they made an effort to avoid in the first place.
What they ****ed up on is they should have put all the PH players into Ran and merged Jin/Isen back in the day and kept Jins xp/drop/forge rates and all the extra stuff Isen offers while keeping it an upgrade free server, but they screwed the pooch on that one already. It kind of sucks now Korea is finally getting around to a class balance and the main server is butt****ed with upgrades lol. If they really wanted to they could make some tweaks to Isen that would make it a ton better, mainly forge/xp rates, but its YNK...they'll just do the opposite of what players want lol.
Back in the day i used to think upgrds where really bad cause everyone talked about them like if it was taboo. Once Jin merged with Ran well upgrds where powerful but not as powerful as i always imagined them to be. Now with the class balances upgrds will be powerful but not much of a factor if the player doesn't know what he is doing :l
Idk why Isen players will be complaining when they should have enough money to buy a 1 time weapon that doesn't need to be restocked with stones every 7-30days that has a chance to fail god knows how many times. Their weaps have less DD but way more atk spd and crit, pdf from inflated stats and such. The merge will give them the fun of their life pvping zergs of angry players from Jainus >.>
Yeah everyone is an upg hater until they see one in action. To think those baboons used tali weapons and glacial weapons for 3 years and said it was more balanced than having upgs LOL
passing BY... Just want to ask ANYONE HERE has a bug character...???
-cannot use portal stones?
-cannot use mounts?
-cannot use potions?
-cannot unequipped items?
anyone?
Isen players got cool stuff like 400 str and vit rings + 700 mele, also one wrath of darknes cost 999 rps at isen cos nobody need it... they will flood us with boss drop rings and will get tons of e-cash but prices at Item Mall are verry big for that point and they will drink water again :D Also you talking with upgrades... why not talk for +15 armors, walter medals +7 magical talisman +7 and dd is not important haha cos he have crit rate.... :D ok come hit me with your 15 % crit dagger on my 70 dd mace and kill me pls you will be one shota on my 80 000 mele pfff... i NOT agree!!!
That depends what class is trying to kill you...
We all know a Agi dhan will die in the first 2-3 swings xD
Its the fact that you can't even farm a worthwhile weapon that does it for me. Jainus server is pointless because you suck balls with no upgrade, and Isen was dead on arrival because they went out of their way to make glacials suck so everyone used craft weapons and constantly paid for stones...meanwhile...the whole game is a giant ****ing farmfest. They want me to go on and farm endlessly for hours...but...they don't want me to pick up anything good while I'm doing it lol. If they do anything with Isen they should focus on making it a farm/forge server so we have something different instead of merging into Jainus that is going to end up being a net loss for them, just like it was when they killed Jin that was the most farming oriented server we had.
Upgrades ruined the game, back when epics released half the game quit (just look at the company statistics lmao) and farming became useless for a long time. It ruined the game economy, made the game more P2W and created a huge power imbalance.
This being said, looking at how the game is now, upgrades are part of the game and should remain part of it, the best server is jainus by far.
The only thing upgrades did was give you 1 weapon all solition where in the past we had diferent weapons for diferent situatiins :l
They are a needed evil now but male the game meh so so could be harder without them.
I don't think I could disagree with a statement more than I disagree with this one.
YNKI, and perpetuated by PlayWithI, completely f**ked this game when they sold anything in their market that affected your basic stats. I'm not limiting this to upgrades here, but also anything that increases your characters stats like scrolls, tokens, talismans and pets. That was the primary mistake. It is all well and good that you can kill bosses and forge/craft weapons/armor/accessories in-game, but when they started selling performance enhancing virtual products in their IM, they opened the door for imbalance and ruin. Wile the lesser power-ups were available at the beginning of this game, the upgrades and epics were simply the ultimate clusterf*** for this game to the poinbt that if you don't have opne, you might as well stop playing because you are NOT going to have a lot of fun.
This is of course crying over spilled milk because there is no magical time machine that will take us back to the Spring of 2008 so we can start over without this mess in place.
If you take a look around, almost all of the more popular games I have seen do not sell powerups in their stores. All you can really get are things like experience boosters, mounts and cosmetic stuff that really doesn't affect whether you will win or lose in a pvp war because you have deep pockets.
Might I just chime in that it was the crafting system what broke the game further down?
Classes have never been balanced and many skills lacked a lot of thought or weren't worked out, bugged, you name it. The crafting system exponentially inflated those imbalances to the point of ridicule.
But you know how we humans are; regardless of the outcome, we will still invest in items if it makes us marginally stronger than our opponent. It does not matter if it breaks down the game further, as long as we are on the n°1 pedestal.
Those who cannot follow up due to the lack of funds, time or both just end up quiting. Which is exactly what happened.
As the population already was twindling due to the abovementioned, YNKi released the Epics for the ultimate moneygrab.
You cannot withold that their marketing thought that well out. Let's face it: you have an MMORPG which lasts a couple years. In those few years you need to make a good enough revenue to get out of your overall expenses, have some send over to Switzerland and keep some leftovers for new investments in future games.
When you have made your money and the game is already few years in; there is no "long term" thinking anymore. There's just the short term "make-as-much-money-as-we-can.gif".
Releasing the epics was just that - and people fell for it.
Those who didn't, just quit altogether.
Now, with the population being reduced to an absolute minority and the adamant stance on server-rollbacks, releasing upgrades was all they could do.
Unfortunately, as is usually the case with anything YNKi or PWi executes, this too wasn't well thought out.
Not only did they neglect any "Epic" buyer, but just as with the Epic sale they also neglected any person who could not buy in time.
This, again, didn't have any positive impact on the game population. The timeframe between epic and upgrade sale was way too long (this of course for purely economical reasons, but this does not improve gameplay at all). People do not have that patience.
So, they just stepped on the toes of any free player (regardless of what you think, you need these players)
They just stepped on the toes of any casual spender.
They just stepped on the toes of any actual spender (how many Epic buyers didn't quit on the release of upgr, and letting their epics rot in their treasuries).
They just made the game unaccessable for anyone that didn't or won't heavily invest.
But hey, bless the upgrades.
It "only" ruined farming, tactics and economics.
Anyway, you can be naive once, maybe twice. A third time is really stretching it, but seriously if you think anyone is still falling for their trap after Isen. I challenge any GM to come on here and say without blinking and the least bit of shame, telling us that Isen was not the purest of moneygrabs this game has ever seen and that's including any and all epic and upgrade sale.
Let's admit though, on the course we are on now: yes, upgrades are the necessary evil.
Why? Because it's still cheaper than having to socket your whole fk'n armor, weapon and whatnotelse every damn week or month with breakable IM stones.
Let's vote for 100% DD again, shall we?
The transcended weapon has its own spirit stones that drop in the dungeon so its not nearly as bad as isen stuff.
Also new PVP armor cant wait for that ****!
Anyways I stand by what I said ive been here forever and while epics/upgs were poorly implemented the quality of pvp compensated for it.
Most fun ive had in this game has been working together with great minds to win pvps compared to the monkey pvp from the days of old.
monkey pvp is way more fun.
ain't nothing like flinging poo at your enemy to defeat him. Such a hoot!
game gets soo complicated... here must have master degree to play that new patch :D
