Hey all !!
I played rohan about 4 years ago, i played with a couple a friends and the game had alot of players, but the last time i was in the game, it looked so empty...
A new server was created and i did to go to that server, and it was empty too ...
Can someone give me a prespective on how much people are still playing this game ?
0.000001% of the population of the first year of Rohan still play, lol...
I'd guess that the Isen server has the least amount of players.
You'll also not really find any lowbies grinding it up on the "old" spots. Limestone foothill is a good place to find some people, but not nearly as much as "back then".
Nope not dead. ^ Go to limestone and you'll see players from different guilds. Actually most high level players are busy leveling in mirror dungeons or any high level maps. You can also see some of them in lime every Weekly Chaos Summoning event.

Define "dead'.
You can log into the game so it is still alive. When you can't play the game anymore it is dead.

I bet even some players today don't even know Ekzine Warrior, Beholder, Shadow Curse, Roughback Drys, Amazon Archlord, Berserker Varg or such monster in regular maps. Or when someone ask you, where are you now? And you answered, "I'm at Dharvegawan/Liom". Prolly he will say : "Where in the world is that?"
Sometimes that makes me laugh.
There are indeed people who leveling solo on some spot, or they jut prolly farming.
So if you say "Rohan is dead?" I would say it depends.
if you were a long ago player and comparing it with now, the answer is YES. It is dead like hell.
if you are just a newbie and never see the old first year rohan than maybe you can see this game is(have) not dead yet, did I say "yet"?
But forget that, the word "dead" for a game like this is actually depend on yourself.
If you play this game and you still have fun despite anything happens(maybe you lost upg weapon xD), then the game is not dead for you, but even if there are 1 million people playing but you got no fun here, then the game is dead for you, simple as that. The proof is those people at limestone, they always cursing the game, saying I want to quit soon, but you will still found them for next day, next week, and prolly next year.
The games only as dead as you make it. It sh1ts me when people stand around at lime whining that they are bored or there's nothing to do or there's no pvp. Ffs, you have an imagination, use the dam thing. Its a game, play it, have fun. Rpk nabs in lower/ upper, do quests, farm/ pvp high lvls/ Make a guild/ make a zerk/ lvl lowbies.
And if there's no pvp, then make some. Go find some kos and annoy them enough and they will (hopefully) retaliate. And there you have some pvp.
Im a priest and I often go out looking for trouble and make pvp for something to do. If you play this game and cant find anything to do, then play something else and come back when things pick up again. I've played Rohan since day one and I can honestly say I still love it as much now as I did back then

I love how positive you are and yes you are right, there's a lot of things to be enjoyed inside the game. Most of these wieners are just care bears or people who's not even active inside the game. I don't know why they're like that. I'm not a pvp type yet but I still enjoy Rohan. I enjoy when I level and party with my friends in Ashkeena. Being able to get the items I need for my character is also a form of joy to me. A game is dead if there's no one's logging in and if the GM's don't give a damn to give us these amazing events.Quote:
