In regards to the alchemist npc being removed, it seems they are trying to implement option stone crafting instead but is only partially implemented since i don't see any blueprints dropping for them but it does in fact appear under the spirit stone job.

Sure lets keep selling 4parts and porking the free to play users... lets make end game completely unobtainable to people who havent been here for 4+ years or dont have DEEP pockets.

But lets face it. People have the bosses spawn times on lock. Since they only spawn EVERY so often. Other people cant haphazardly wonder upon the boss get some friends and kill it. Its a best of the best battle for bosses and the people who dont have wont have for a LONG time till they trickle into the market. Which is VERY slowly.

See im the type of person who is able to see things from all sides. I can place myself in others shoes. To look at things and see them from my perspective and the perspective of others. This gives me the ability to point out things that others might not see and or care about. I can understand how it feels to get completely wrekt by someone no matter how much work you put into getting your char on lock. Getting your gears lookin right and if you dont got the money to spend no matter what you are second rate to people who do spend.

Heck I logged in yesterday and a dhan who is 115 +10 was messin round at lime and was completely buffed was hitting my dhan who was unbuffed no item mall but I have pimped out gears. Im walkin on 78k hp without a lion, alm, scrolls, talismans, costumes, ect. Yet for all the time they put in they are fully buffed critting me for 1.4k im unbuffed smacking them for 1.2k auto attacks + invenom.

YNK/PWI wont see it as people cant afford the things. They have the ability to make new items that could be obtained in game that could be way better than current normal items yet not as good as upgrade parts or even on par with parts to make epic weapons and these could be some extensive multi-part quest. Since they have the ability to do this. Kinda like the lvl 30 better than average quest weapon part of the chain of storyline quests that all characters have.

But Dekon... we cant give great stuff away for free. LOL Do you not think that if people had the ability to make some epic like weapons that they wouldnt spend some crazy amounts of time playing your game... Well with hunter kits.... GTFO with that bullish already. It would give some free to play users a small amount of... hey im not complete trash in the grand scheme of things feeling. Cause they can work towards what others have bought. Cash shop should never be a complete paywall over free to play users. It should just be a short cut to getting there faster. Yet here we are. Yall making people who dont have the funding feel like complete bunk cause they cant and wont ever reach levels people like I am on.

Personally, if I invested the time. I feel like I could have the best gear in the game.... but then again I can just turn on the p-server I have log into it and be at the same place. The best geared in a dead game.

I have said this once, I will say it one hundred times.

A game that solely caters to 5-6% of its playerbase will ultimately fail because the other 94-95% of people will figure out that no matter what they will never be on the same level as the other 5-6% that was able to boost through and be the first to get certain land marks that grant large power spikes.

Heck for the longest time R4 boss drops were the most op thing in the game. Then zeit eyes were op because people could build pure ______ and still have the tank from the eyes. Then feathers/flame diamonds were king of the game. Then beze, ruler, and im sure something new will come sooner or later to blow all the before items out of the water. However these items have always granted power spikes to people who could get them first. While the spikes initially were small they were still there giving those with a better chance than those without. As things progressed factions form core groups usually distribute certain items to certain people, with lessor items being distributed to out of core players. However as one sides amount of items grows. So does their advantage.

Boss's need to spawn way more randomly, and in different areas so that they cant be camped and controlled by a single group. When you allow for one or two groups to have majority control it leaves a power gap. It always has. I have seen people quit out of the game because of these power gaps and realizing that they cant or wont ever get to that point because they arent part of this group.

You have people who dont have who join groups with hopes of one day getting but usually end up leaving out the guild because of greifing in game. You have maxed out players who are complete douche nozzles who "for fun" will run around and kill people who are trying to level and simply get sick of being pked when they spent a few dollars to get some scrolls only to have them wasted by some bored jagoff.

This games maxed out playerbase is toxic af they run around rpking because they can and the people they are killing dont have a snowballs chance in hell of fighting back. In the rare and highly unlikely chance they DO manage to kill the douche rpking them. Its very likely that they will just venge back or show up with a few friends wipe the party and call kos on them because they defended themselves.

Because ya know 5yr old logic when it comes to any sort of diplomacy what so ever.

For the last few weeks while I was playing I was only doing the instance dungeon on my dekan, and noir because it was the one place I knew for sure that I would get 4 solid hours of exp without interruption however it was frequent when I would get to a spot, get set up. Here comes some ass out the cut just rpking people cause "lawl noob you suck" and they a 115+10 or better rpking low 1xx chars to high 9x chars. I mean I would say your pro but I log my dhan in and 1shot your failed asses most of the time. If thats not the case I talk to a few other people who keep tellin me to come back and they come and wrek your ass. Either way there needs to be more stuff to keep higher levels busy and from harassing people who are leveling.

There needs to be better quest rewards than some bunk ass +10 pdef armor or crappy ass weapon. People dont even bother with most of the quests because most of the items are complete crap. Theres maybe 2-3 quest chains in the game that lead to some good items the rest... lol Dont even bother unless they are for the new class.

Rohan is kind of like when you drive past a bad car accident...you know there is 0% chance you will see anything good on your way by, but you look anyhow. I've come to expect a 0% chance of a decent update here...but every time there is an update I have to look for the lulz and just to reaffirm that taking a break since the server merge/upgrade sale was the right choice.

I can't imagine how awful the new ascended weapons or w/e they are calling them will be...you make one out of a high 6xdd upgrade and slap a dd craft weapon stone in one of your sockets and everyone and their brother will have 100dd. Yeah...thats "fun" looool.

Well as far as I know they capped DD to like 85% or something...

I heard they just simply turned off the dd on a human's off hand (lame, and I couldn't be arsed to test it out). So now those humans that have axes rather than maces or swords for the main hand are hosed because an axe is 95% useless to a human. CS/OS and Fix are useless with an axe, sword mastery and blunt mastery don't apply to it, so what good is an expensive upgrade axe to a human? The only thing that build was good for was the max DD, and That. Is. It. They weren't unkillable. Just the lord & master templars played squeaky wheel again and got their way.

At this point do I care? Nope. Aion private servers are going gangbusters right now and THOSE have pvp every bit as good as Rohan's (better actually because it is BALANCED). I can say that because I and others on my team code one of the best Aion server emulators available on the internet.

Ynk is equally dense as Latvala.

Iceyyy if I was like 8yrs younger... or 30 years older I would have no problem jumping into another mmo. Sadly the issue for most of them for me anyways lie as follows. Mind you this is why I wish rohan worked out and the gms actually would take care of their player base rather than making it worse than blacks and whites during the segregation era.

1.Right now with work I dont have the ability to spend tons of time in a game. So going to a game with friends is kinda .... going to take me multiple months to get leveled up. Im going to miss a ton of opportunities to get better gears and items for the simple fact that I will be too far behind to get boosted gears since they are often non-tradable items or locked to people who did the dungeon/ instance that the items drop from.

2. Most games frown upon botting and I understand that. I really really do. However rohan has completely given up their anti-bot crusade and decided to give out bots to anyone who has crone in game. Or even levels up to certain levels can get them for free. \o/ This works for me. This means that while im working 12+ hours. My character can be chillin here doin its thing getting exp while im out.

3. I only really have time to play games. Other than league friday and saturday and sometimes monday when I get off work. (Which is going to be changing in the next coming month.) Most mmos are completely centered around logging massive amounts of play time. To which I cant do. Its outside of the scale of things I can actually do. Games like league fits me perfectly at the moment. While the amount of autistic people you will run into every day is simply amazing. Low time requirement games usually between 20-40 minutes works out great for me.

4. Most games are hard to figure out if you like them or not until you reach end game. This is the point where you start to discover that certain things are way more broken than others and many games dont give the option to roll your current character into a different one like rohan does. OR unlike rohan the game goes. Well this is broken. SO you picked the broken character to play and low and behold you get leveled up and the game nerfs it into oblivion. So the gears that you accumulated are now trash and your character is utter bunk.

Short and sweet of it I would go play other games with friends. However I have learned with my current inactive account in guildwars 2 that jumping into a new game with friends when you cannot play as much as them you end up out leveled and even if they wanna start a new char to play with you on. It is the same old story same old song and dance my friend.... (Aerosmith reference for ya lol)

It simply isnt feasible at this point in my life to do. When I can buy a max level character here. I can do it in other games but risk being banned because of doing so. Same with botting in other games. It simply is way too much risk vs reward.

This is why I keep playing League and rohan. I occasionally log into D3 to which I have 2 accounts with a grand total of about 10 level 70 characters with gears and most of my friends I was playing with there. Dont play too often because the game is stale because of the lack of pvp and the constant grind to get gears to compete in a numbers games against other people who have way more time than we do in general to play.

Being a "responsible" adult really makes being a gamer a realm of impossibility when you work 60+ hours a week. While the 5 days a week part doesnt bother me. I can still play games on the weekends however I still like to be able to go out and do stuff. So the commitment to a video game just isnt there. The drive to grind. For me anyways. Just isnt there. Rohan and league need very little comitment to play them. Even less to just log in and screw around from time to time.

While I know I have a few months ahead of me of hard grind to get to +50 in rohan. Most of it will be done with a bot supplied to me by the game. In other games I have to "cheat" because I dont have the ability to commit time. Or pay friends to log my account to lvl my chars for me.

Sunnyangel should be banned...it is a travesty she is on these forums recruiting players to join other games...PW doesn't need help getting players to leave, they are effective enough at that on their own.

Some people I can only get a hold of through the forums so if playwith thinks me bringing uncle dekon & old man mark over to TERA is such a bad thing... I cant hear them from the grave they dug themselves into.


@Uncle Dekon: TERA is a lot easier to lvl and manage just come try it out. You can even lvl with pvp starting at lvl 30 :P

Quite easy as well. You buy stuff from NPC, put it on vendor for double its price.. and people still buy it and you get rich. After a bit playing with the vendor for a week, maybe two, you're already way richer than the average player your level and up. You buy one of them underwear sets, and you're good to go vs anything your lvl and slightly higher without blinking your eyes.

Now, that's the OK part.

Then you get level 30-ish and can join those "pvp battles" aka the township battles of olde. The idea is sound, but as a new player you're left without any directives. You just run along thinking all the time: what am I doing? Then, suddenly, you either won or lost, but have no idea how you accomplished that.
There's absolutely no communication, whatsoever. Perhaps that's bound to the whole newbie level stuff, but heck - they could do something about that.

Leveling in general also becomes dull quite fast. The monsters you've been slaying 10 lvls back, are facing you time after time over and over again. Granted, different color, maybe different size - but you get the jest, it's the same bloody thing without even altering its attack pattern.
As a solo player it's extremely boring.

Go join a guild, you say? Well, I actually tried. But you go advertise you're good for a guild when you have absolutely no clue what you're doing, besides ripping off your fellow newbs at the vendor.

The occasional guild you do join, is usually max or near max level and will, apart from chat, just leave you hanging in there. Team play, party play? Hardly.
Granted, you get into parties for dungeons, but you are expected to be an elite to begin with. Players are no longer born crawling, but are expected to run day 1 and run you will; because - thank god - there's open PvP.

The gearing system isn't too bad either, except that loots are useless for anything other than crushing. You just get your weapons handed to you every x-levels and they are just better hands down. Good thing they're for free, though. PWI could learn a thing or two from that.

Generally, game's not too bad; got nice graphics, sounds and skill effects (but what the bloody hell is it with all the cannons and frakking robots in a medieval-fantasy setting?). All that doesn't make it extra fun, though.
It's a grind for elitists.

If your talking about CS someone gets tagged leader and is supposed to give out directions but sometimes you just get idiots or trolls. The objective is to get inside the castle and destroy the crystal. Each team has a turn at offense and defense and the team with the better time wins. Its a lot of fun when you actually know whats going on and don't get on a **** team where people don't listen and quit 3 minutes into it.

I'd just level in pve enough to get into the equalized pvp dungeons and then just level in the pvp areas. Yeah you end up a little underpowered even after the equalizing but its more fun than the **** pve in that game lol...plus you end up farming the mats/credits you are going to need for your top tier pvp gear, which is a lot more useful then farming mid level pve gear you just replace in 5-10 levels anyhow.

Guilds there are pretty much the same as every other game I've played. Almost nobody wants to join a smaller noobish guild where you can make friends and learn together, everyone wants to join one of the better guilds. None of those guilds want you unless you are already pro, have a friend on the inside, or spend a lot of money and will give them all free ****. I think I got ignored by everything other than those retarded invite spam invite everybody guilds until I just said **** it I'm going to be a dick and start rpking everyone in open world. Once you start wrecking random people and they realize you are pretty good then they want to recruit you lol.

Yup I was in a good guild for about 6 months...about 10 active people with maxxed level toons and a bunch of alts. Nobody was super pro with perfect gear, but we had enough people to make 5 man groups most the time, and most of us could play our toons well so we could hold our own in pvp. Unfortunately it fizzled once we started to get good and people started jumping ship to go join bigger guilds when that fortress update came out:(

I enjoy the gearing in that game as well. Pretty much all that matters is getting the top tier gear...which really isn't that hard to do, just time consuming. Its nice because the difference between a guy with good gear and a guy with pro gear is your talking +9/10 gear vs +12(I think they made it +15 recently but haven't been on all summer)...good gear and skill in pvp is better then perfect gear but sucking at playing your character. Its nice too because its not pay to win, its just pay for the same mats you farm so you can grind a little less/get your stuff faster. You don't have to worry about some dude wrecking you because he has an upgrade and you don't...plus the classes are actually pretty well balanced. They all have their pros and cons and playstyles...theres no equivalent of what templars have been on Rohan over the years. Sometimes something gets a little OP or weak with an update but its generally improved within a couple months with the next update...not years and still no fix lol.

Haha...I don't mind the sci-fi twist. Its definitely a grind for elitist though...but once you realize you don't have to have the best of the best gear or max + on everything and you can still be competitive the games a lot of fun. Its nice too that the elitists are generally the people that know the game well and play it consistently rather then the Rohan version of elitists, which is the moron that wants to spend the most money.

You just run along thinking all the time: what am I doing? Then, suddenly, you either won or lost, but have no idea how you accomplished that.
There's absolutely no communication, whatsoever. Perhaps that's bound to the whole newbie level stuff, but heck - they could do something about that.
TBH what you are describing is CS (Corsairs Stronghold) and I dont go in that battleground at all. I got all my pvp gear by doing Gridiron (its a 15 vs 15 team deathmatch style race to __ kills) and you get extra rewards for being 1st-5th which I usually get since my character (Warrior) is good at hunting off people on their own.
Leveling in general also becomes dull quite fast. The monsters you've been slaying 10 lvls back, are facing you time after time over and over again. Granted, different color, maybe different size - but you get the jest, it's the same bloody thing without even altering its attack pattern.
As a solo player it's extremely boring.
This is true but it also helps because you will know what you are looking for when an achievement says kill 100 kumas in celestial hills or kill 100 nagas in serpentis isle. Soon the global reputation (vanguard initiative) will give quests starting at lvl 1 which means u can do small daily tasks and gain xp/gold/reputation credits which u can use to buy stuff.
Go join a guild, you say? Well, I actually tried. But you go advertise you're good for a guild when you have absolutely no clue what you're doing, besides ripping off your fellow newbs at the vendor.
Guild is not required in this game, I know you are a community type anyways so all you had to do was go to the forums and say hey I am a social person who likes to chit chat while noobing it up solo. Most of my guildies we got off the forums, the ones we find in game are a lot more on the miss side.
The occasional guild you do join, is usually max or near max level and will, apart from chat, just leave you hanging in there. Team play, party play? Hardly.
Granted, you get into parties for dungeons, but you are expected to be an elite to begin with. Players are no longer born crawling, but are expected to run day 1 and run you will; because - thank god - there's open PvP.
I can agree with this, I have a hard time in dungeons. Takes me a long time to learn the mechanics and it does get frustrating for my frnd sometimes. This is why I only run with my frnds for at least 10 runs and then I slowly start doing it with more and more guildies. Having said that pvp is where I am best, even if I dont find much competition on a PVE server.
The gearing system isn't too bad either, except that loots are useless for anything other than crushing. You just get your weapons handed to you every x-levels and they are just better hands down. Good thing they're for free, though. PWI could learn a thing or two from that.
Yeah those avatar weapons were built to help streamline the lvling process. It made sense because unlike rohan's good old days when a guy in a lewis dagger could kill a guy with steadman sword this **** doesnt fly here. They want you to lvl up asap and get on to the endgame content (this allows them to focus more energy on the endgame stuff than the low-mid lvl stuff).
Generally, game's not too bad; got nice graphics, sounds and skill effects (but what the bloody hell is it with all the cannons and frakking robots in a medieval-fantasy setting?). All that doesn't make it extra fun, though.
It's a grind for elitists.

EU Tera is a pile of crap and most of the euros play on NA (server is located in chicago so a little more east than rohan's servers).

I dont like the gunners at all I think they make the game a little too easy (they have burst and aoe) it makes dungeons a little easier which I cant argue with because I dont like dungeons anyways.
