Either it's for transmuting the stats of the upgrade axe into "Trinity class weapons" or its just simply for a vit defender to get 100dd or near
i gots both :p (depending on who's holding the obscenely expensive weapons at the time)
I like pie.
I really do.
Oh Yeah? Prove it! http://cyberguyz.org/smilies/taunt.gif
not liking pie and not allowing yourself to eat pie are two very different things.
Pie won't give you diabetes as long as you understand the energy you get from it needs to be used. All diabetics know this.
is the same,Idont like pie and I dont eat pie, like i said before I like sugar(nutella, shakes, cookies) but all with moderation. And not all diabetics know this, as a health professional I guide and give educational talk to patients who have uncontrolled sugar, so not all diabetics know this.
As a health professional you should also know that eating too much sugar is not a cause of diabetes - but only a risk factor (besides genetics, etc) for developing the disease.
One can eat perfectly healthy food and still develop diabetes; or eat very unhealthy and never get diabetes to begin with. Apparent normal food such as pasta, white bread, rice, noodles, etc.. are an equally bad idea to consume (in bigger quantities) for diabetes-patients (in-spe).
The issue being that high-sugar foods are usually also high in kilojoules. The intake of those excessive kilojoules, (saturated) fats.. is way worse than the intake of the actual sugars in regards to (getting) diabets, and that goes for type 2 diabetes only.
Such health professional many wow. Just don't eat too much of anything and ur good *flys away*
I think I should have qualified that. Those that know they are diabetic will know this. The reason for that is that as soon as a patient is diagnosed with diabetes their doctor is expected to be enrolling them in diabetic management sessions to educate them on how to manage their condition.
Part of that education is to inform the patient as to the known causes of diabetes - both type 1 and type 2, what raises and lowers blood glucose levels, how their blood glucose levels affect them, how to detect both hyper and hypoglycemia and what to do about them. I know because I have been diabetic for just under 20 years and help my own support team educate others during twice yearly sessions at our local hospital.
So if you know you are diabetic, you will know what causes it either from your doctor or from a team of people such as yourself.
Like you say, moderation and knowledge are both important to managing this condition. Simple sugars do not cause diabetes in and of themselves. There are other factors that combine with those sugars that will bring on the condition.
The downside is that this education happens only after a person is diagnosed as diabetic and not before. Having that education before diagnosis can save a lot of people from becoming prediabetic in the first place.
I still like pie though. I just know what I have to do if I eat it.
I love how offtopic we are and brujsomethingsomething is participating like a true hypocrite. huehuehue
I feel sad for brujohechisero he was just bitch slapped in the face by 3 guys >_>
Aw, he is entitled to his opinion. And he really isn't completely wrong. He knows there's more than one cause for diabetes and simple sugars is not the root cause. Diabetes is a degenerative disease that is hitting people at a younger and younger age. In my generation (very generally speaking) it did not hit prediabetic stage until our 40s & 50s. However kids from my generation didn't start parking themselves behind computers util their mid 20s and early 30s because home computers were hella expensive and there was no Internet. Before then we were getting all our entertainment "out there", staying active and burning all that sugar being active with our friends.
That's not the case with the latest generation that have cut their teeth on computers and internet. Far more kids today tend to be almost shut-ins than ever before not stirring from their homes unless almost forced to. So where does all that sugar they are consuming go? It doesn't get burnt playing Rohan or LoL for sure.
So is he right for avoiding sweet stuff? Is he wary of becoming diabetic? He sure is as anyone from this generation should be. So I won't knock him for his distrust for pie.
I on the other hand like pie. But when I eat pie (I am diabetic, not dead), I know what to do about it. I don't let my condition scare me away from the things I like. I simply manage them. After all YOLO!
Hey trolls... go DO SPORTS!!!
Whaaaaat???
O.o :D
You know I was willing to take you calling yourself a "Health Care Professional" at face value. After reading that, I realize that a even janitor that cleans the doctor's office toilet can call himself a "Health Care Professional" and have about the same level of ignorance about this condition.
All I can say here is: You know nothing John Snow.
Please educate yourself on this condition before you say such stupid sh1t.
sure sure and u can google, Im sorry for u sir but most of diabetics (grandpas in this case) I saw then eating what they want to eat and they put insulin to compensate, I call them (delinquent diabetics) because they dont have a diet on life or they dont follow instructions. But you sir..... in all threads and posts u write like u know EVERYTHING ( % of divorce, usa and gay marriage , pcs, gameguard issues etc etc) so u can google everything and u aint know sh1t, if u had never study and u lost ur time in life and now as a "grandpa" u google everything to have some "knowlegde" is ok never is late lol, but I know what im talking about. Have a nice day Mr. janitor.
I loled at this. I know enough of everything to smell bs when it comes wafts across my nose. So are you saying that if your grandparents follow your instructions that they won't have to take insulin?
Oh and for the record:
I LIKE pie.
Just because I like pie does not mean I EAT pie on a regular basis. Do you think I am fkin stupid? I am diabetic fort god's sake! Am I not allowed like something without having to constantly indulge in it? I will have pie. In fact I had pie last month. and 3 months before that. I enjoyed every single bite of it. And to manage my sugar, I ate less potatoes so I could have that pie. You see what I am getting at here? If you manage what it is you are eating you do not have to 'compensate' by taking MORE insulin. If you know what you are doing it is not really that big of a hassle.
so please get your goddam facts straight. I have been diabetic for a long time and I well know how to manage it. And I have REAL medical specialists, not hospital janitors, working with me every step of the way to make sure I AM managing my condition very well during that entire time. I have more of an idea about this degenerative condition than you do since all yolu seem to have to go on is your observations of your grandparents. My data comes straight from the internal medicine specialists I see every 3 months.
So yeah. I do know an awful lot from personal knowledge and experience. And for those things I don't have such in depth knowledge about, I am a researcher and have been very good at it since long before Yahoo! put out their first web crawler. I use the tools available to me and i tabulate the data I get to arrive at the right conclusions ans answers. There is nothing wrong with google. Google contains the sum total of all mankind's knowledge and is available to anyone with the skill to ask the right questions and sift out the right answers. Do you?
LMFFAO!!! xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
