Event suggestions~

Hello everyone! I am constantly working with my team to come up with ideas for events that you guys would consider fun, while trying to keep the ideas fresh and different. So I thought; why not ask my community what they are looking for?

I am really open to all sorts of ideas. Even silly ones. What gets you guys excited? What sort of events would get you eager to participate in them? I am interested in hearing what ideas you guys have. The types of items you want to win (Within Reason!), what kind of activities you guys consider fun, all of it! The more you tell me, the more information I have to work with.

Well the last man standing event I made up back when Wensha was working and it seems to be pretty popular so I'll give it another shot. People around here are BIG into who's the best in each class. So a PVP based event on classes only people would really enjoy. Make it like a self buffed class based pvp event no scrolls no pets no outside buffs. Then people can stop spamming in game and forums about who's the best in each class because whoever wins the tournaments obviously will be the best.

Also you guys should bring back the old Rohanopoly lot of players that are 115+10 don't do ash or superior so it's kinda stupid. And also bring back the old achievement system. Those two things kept A LOT of players that can't really afford this game still playing. And they spent when they could. Now that those two things are gone it gives people who can't afford this game or in countries where they can't charge less incentive to play.

Also for fu.cks sake give people PRO starter gear when they start this game. Full of dd hp/mp absorb the majority of new people who join this game wind up spamming in limestone for crones and items then quitting. This is obviously a problem. No one said give them 4x's and sh.it but give them some incentive to keep playing the fkn game.

Clashing valley 2 times a week on the event server, why? because everyone is equally geared there and from my user experience it was major fun to do, most people will agree with that.

Completely forgot about event server. I also bump this as well clashing valley was fun as f.uck on event server.

I agree with Both Shawn and sniper. Add the fishing derby event to that was good for those that actually wanted something with a little bit of effort. As price I would say 7 day pattern or costume and once a month a skill reset stone and/or stat reset stone for those that screwed up their build can have a 2nd chance to fix it(none tradeable ofc).

Ohh and I just remembered another event that was actually good and challenging. I dont remember the exact name of it but I remember the mechanics. It was an NPC that a pt of 5 players had to escort from Kai'non to Montt and on the way they had to protect her from other players if she died she droped 5-6 chests with prices but if she was either stolen from the started players or got to her destination without problem then she gave better prices I think it was costumes and/or timed accs don't remember well. This event can be changed to be from Einhoren to Kai'non, Kai'non to Montt, Einhoren to Vena, Kai'non to Arbelorn and once a month the hardest one with Etton to Kainon with better prices for this last one ofc.

I have lots of suggestions for rohan
1 because no one will ashkena now? why not create one askena more entertained as an example: 1 askena in order to survive as
stage1 60 mobs, level 35, 1 boss Lv30 / first mobs and then boss
stage2 80 mobs level 55, 1 boss lv50-60 / first mobs and then boss
stage3 120 mobs nivel75 .1-2 boss lv 70-80 / first mobs and then boss
stage 4 200 lv boss mobs nivel95 1-2 90-100 / first mobs and then boss
stage5 unlimited mobs level 2-3 115 lv boss 105-110 / mobs with the boss the same time.
stage 6 unlimited level 125+ mobs 4-5 + lv 115+ boss / the same time with more damage to make something incredible for players of Rohan

awards are:
stage 1 -1 ses 50% succes for new players with 75% drop in boss
stage 2 -1 mount 3-5 days with 60% drop in boss
stage 3 10scroll of 10 satus 50% drop boss
stage 4-1 Aces 50% succe 40% drop boss
stage5-1 usual 3-5 days for this new event 30% drop on boos
stage 6-4 scroll 40% of melle magic and range and hp and 20% drop in boss

the winners are wins to complete the stage ..

ideas???? bring back the Clashey Valley server Event, rewards like the 500 vit costume was pretty good, screenshots event, imitate the GM screenshot,hide and seek (find the GM) anyway hope u can get some ideas, always asking for ideas or events and they do nothing .

The idea behind this is pretty cool, I mean the askeena boss is useless atm, nobody ever completes that fox quest so putting different rewards on different stages is cool but I don't think thats the purpose of this Thread because it would be a major update and game change. I think the point is to come up with events the gms can host ingame and not a whole new update. But nontheless, your idea is nice :)

And honstly most of all, I think alot of players would also enjoy a real forging and refining event with rates that are seriously boosted (say 100% refine rate again) and also a big boost to + onyx armour and + bossdrops. One of the issues of this game is that noone can ever compete with old players since they have forged bossdrops +12 (or even +15-18) which cost 35K+ ecash at least, only way to drop the price on those items is to make it easier to make and + them. If not, no new player will ever be able to be any competative.

Can be some screenshot events here on forum and something like the hide and seek event in game ,was pretty cool;a summer drops event will be nice as well like the one in xmas :)

a good idea is we need events yes, but why u or the staff or who ever is in charge fix the unbalance between classes...... what happened to the variety? what happened to the dex or hybrid guardians? the agility dhans? berserkers? psych temps, the rangers??, the scouts? they are all obsolets!!!!!!!!! all I can see now is temp and trinity..... all of u nerfed some buffand skill of those classes, this is one of much reason why people quit this game......... Do something!!!!!!!!!!is 2015 dont ruin this game more than it is already. And Im not the first or the last gamer who said this, what are u waiting for??

Thank you snipers334, that is EXACTLY what I would have said. Let's focus on event discussion in this thread, I already took a poll of what you guys wanted next, with class balancing being the winner. Don't think for one second that I'm not asking about the status of that, or what I can do to speed up it's implementation, every single day. Please just trust me on that.

For now, help me come up with some fun event ideas you guys will enjoy. :D

Every event should be on the event server because event server is fun.

Last man standing fixed (3 randomized groups of 10 players 1st place=2x All stats patch for fashion frenzy 2nd place=all stats patch for fashion frenzy 3rd place=25 holy teardrops and 25 holywines Consolation prize=2 badge of victory)
This is a regular last man standing event, however to prevent the 2 main problems (people helping each other and people fighting dirty with false starts and resurections) we are cutting the size down to 10 players in 3 groups. ANY PLAYERS WITH GUILD BUFFS FROM CLASHING VALLEY EVENT WILL HAVE TO REMOVE BUFFS OR BE DISQUALIFIED

Power arena event (1 round winning team=6 badge of victory & 10 holy teardrops losing team = 6 badge of bravery & 10 heavenly teardrops)
This is a regular power arena event.

Clashing Valley event (1 round winning team= 6 badge of victory & The One Trenchcoat (m/f--15d) losing team= 6 badge of bravery & Vampire Hunter costume set (m/f--7d))
---This event is just the normal clashing valley, the defending team receives guild buffs (arcane/enhanced attack/enhanced defense/movement mastery/speed mastery) for being outnumbered (the attacker side gets arcane and mitigation? NO TRIPPLE FATAL NO COUNTER ATTACK ALLOWED FROM EITHER SIDE

Soccer event (1 round winning team = all stats patch for fashion frenzy losing team = 7 day persian costume set)
----This event is a race between 2 groups of 10 players to kill 10 zeit or 10 aquarius bosses.

EARLY COMPLETION BONUS LAST MAN STANDING
A bonus for completing events quickly (1/2 of the event timeframe) will be a last man standing event (2 rounds of 10 players) same rules as the fixed last man standing event above. Again to re iterate NO GUILD BUFFS ALLOWED! failure to comply will result in disqualification.

Prizes for early completion LMS:
Consolation: 5 badge of bravery & 5 holy teardops
1st place: 3x radiant ancient enhancement stone (IM lvl 7)
2nd place: 3x ancient skill enhancement stone (white)
3rd place: 3x Skill enhancement stone (white)

bahhh better the 500 vit costume like the events Verenbaen do last year

I want to see an event where anyone that deletes an upgrade wins. If you don't delete an upgrade, you lose, and the penalty for losing is any upgrades on your account get deleted.

They introduced new fashion system, they'll not give out the old 500 vit costumes while they are making money from the 30 Day patterns.

A nice event is change boss in elemental dungeon (fire boss Kasa, wood boss Silva, Earth boss Ruler, Metal boss Bezemuth) if u do it alot player bring back to play rohan for more chance get boss drop

This is actually really good lol, If besides that the reinforcement rates would be peramently boosted and you could win Prayer of water temple on Rohanopoly (with 1 free coin a day at lvl > 50) it would drop the price of all rings on the EM so new players can afford them as well.

thats the problem why so much people quited "and still quititng" not all people can afford or spend too much money on this game!!!!!, no balanced between classes, no balanced between premium and free players. I used to charged a lot of $$$$$$$ starting trying to plus a flame to 18 but always fail fail fail, where the reinforcement event? hello??? spend like $200 trying to plus(this is a virtual item, why so much fail?), anyhow another event idea.... GIVE AT LEAST 90% CHANCE REINFORCEMENT EVENT.

Because rather than have you spend 20 bucks this week, and maybe another 20 bucks a few weekends from now, they'd rather have you spend 100 dollars now and rage quit shortly after.

other idea.......... the SA event, you must fix the SA because people dual or triple log just for winning.

Instance Summoning Event
GM summons 10 waves of instance dungeon bosses, each wave gets progressively harder as more and more bosses are added. Each wave will be given 10 minutes (total time: 1 hr 40 mins) with extra time being added for early completion (1 minute for every 30 seconds when completion time is between 00:01 and 9:59, 1 min for every minute after 10:00; extra time is also awarded when participants is less than 30 of 1 min per missing participant so 28 players is an extra 2 mins and 15 players is an extra 15 *if this happens probably dont make this event next week or rules have to be changed to incentivize participation*
Wave 1: 1 Ashkeena & 1 elemental trio (earth/fire/water)
Wave 2: 1 Ashkeena & 1 full elemental boss roster (wood/earth/fire/metal/water)
Wave 3: 3 Ashkeena & 1 full elemental boss roster (wood/earth/fire/metal/water)
Wave 4: 5 Ashkeena & 2 full elemental boss roster (wood/earth/fire/metal/water)
Wave 5: 10 Ashkeena & 5 full elemental boss roster (wood/earth/fire/metal/water)

The goal here is to give players a chance to get the fox pet and the twin sister's aura ring set (which is comparable to reinforced boss drops with less pressure as the all stats rings are the main things you need to +) only way this game will improve is if players get a more even footing (but not completely even because thats also a game killer)

What about merchant soul event? Fishing derby? Guild boss hunt? Hide n seek?

Can you do the Magical Talisman event again, the same as last time with random prizes for whoever manages to +7 their talisman? There are barely any on EM and they're all overpriced anyway, not worth $400 for a virtual item.

Better forging/refining/reinforcing event rates, its impossible for somebody to start fresh because people have +14 armor/+15 weapons +18 rings and now you cannot even make a +9 piece of armor or +12 ring, fix this ****.

Bring back Clashing Valley

More Screenshot events for Free to play people, make all of your events have participation prizes, people wont bother if they know they'll lose out to people who pay all of their wages on this game.

Your events have been lacking recently, you're focusing on bringing players back and forgetting about your current players, randomly give away promo codes like you used too, a little thank you that we're still here supporting you.

Do random raffles every maint, for every hour that somebody has logged in they get 1 ticket into a raffle where 3 winners will be announced and get a random decent prize (i.e Deluxxe enhancement abradent, 2,000 rps, 75 all status pattern etc) just for playing the game.

Lastly, do more random sales/discounts on rarer items, upgrades, shinys, deluxxe enhancement abradents, alm scrolls I rarely seen any limited time sales anymore, you're slacking heavily.

New events would be nice but kinda need players on the game to do them.


But i would say do a survival type event where you try to survive so many waves or rounds of mobs. Each mob spawns with random buffs for example one would spawn with 2x health or increased physical defence and another would have like immunity to magic att or melee att or ranged att etc so you would need other classes again.

I find it difficult to participate in events because of the high gap between players' power. Leveling takes an extremely long time but I do this in hopes of becoming stronger. Even after obtaining fairly good equipment, I realize I'm still completely outmatched.

PA can be fun but most of the time, I spend it buffing myself, walking, and suddenly dying by a single hit usually from a templar. I rarely get a chance to fight at all and if I do, the damage is incredibly small. Boss summoning seems nice but I stay away and watch because I would die almost instantly from a player or a boss even if I'm far from it, and I don't want to lose exp for nothing.

It seems the game is dominated by players that have Upgraded weapons and extremely overpowered equipment, with potions to spam, many rows of level 7 buff and scrolls, and 999999 stats / HP / Pdef / DD / melee etc. More PVP events would be a good idea but I'm sure there's a large percentage of players like myself who don't own equipment nearly as strong and aren't willing to spend a ridiculous amount of real money to even have a chance to compete. They will soon lose motivation and realize that spending way too much time tediously building a character is rather pointless when they won't have the opportunity to fight in a battle. This can be a major turn-off for players old and new.

This is why I'd suggest PVP or monster events with some sort of balance if possible.
Randomly assembled groups could be interesting.
1 on 1 PVP tournaments (with no potions, scrolls, or outside buffs) sounds fun. Strategies and learning how to fight using different classes against different classes, either solo or with a team, is a major part of Rohan that I feel we are missing out on.
Simply put, it would be exciting (and more motivating to keep playing) to have PVP fights that last for more than 3 seconds, where even players with average equips could use their characters' potential in battle.

The artistic events. Find a place and screenshot, draw the loading screen, design an armor/costume, etc. Make a movie poster, take a guild photo, or a party photo leveling or killing a boss and then decorate it. Those events were fun. :D Standing in Etton trying to cram everyone in a single shot was amusing. :D

This new fishing event is rubbish if you ask me - you give us 1 month to catch fish and in the end there are only 3 winners (and out of those only the 2nd prize is worth some effort), everyone else will walk away with nothing. In the old Ultimate Angler Challenge events everyone who caught certain amount of fish got prizes; even those weekly Fishing Derbies had 10 winners.

I think its called Elizabeth or Protect Elizabeth

A tournament event, wherein it will consist of 8-10 parties. PVP with elimination rounds and final round. But since players here are such a pain in the as* specially the 2 big guilds in Jainus server, it's unlikely to happen. LOL
