What to do and where to go and what to go with?

Hey there, I am back after like five years of not playing this and wanted to see how things went after ever so long, but now im finding myself on the newest server and kinda getting the feeling that no one is there... even tho I see them... So I started a new character and decided to go with Giant for now just to mess around with cause when I use to play, I played a Dhan, and it was so so, but kinda called it quits with this game when the person I use to play with didnt want anything to do with me, (other then the fact the game is a grind fest and money pit lol) but I just wanted to pass time by now since im in waiting for something else... but now im finding it very odd, that not only im seeing being but they are always AFK and yet they are AFK with buffs, and its been several days asking where are people getting buffs at (since I dont remember where people station at or if over the last five years its changed spots), leveling up this Giant isnt that bad like it use to be, but where is everyone?! And why wont anyone say anything, this is getting kinda creepy!!! Should I stay in the new server or go to an old one?

These days people use Hunter Kit to fight the monsters (a bot released by YNK; you can buy it from a sundries merchant), so they can be afk while the character is leveling. To my knowledge people mostly buff at Limestone. I don't know about the population, but the main difference between the old and new server is that the former has Upgraded weapons, and the items on EM often cost less than in Isen. To find a party the Party Match is still the best option.

So basically it is best to start at an older server? And wow, almost 30mil to get one of those things... that wont happen, iv never had more then 500k...

Isen is an experiment that failed hard. regardless of what server you play on - Isen or Jainus, you will find it is FAR more costly to play Rohan that it was 5 years ago. They guys running it have gotten more and more aggressive at wringing every last penny from its players.

So in other words, its a major money pit now, or spend months getting little to nowhere at all? Oh whats with all the templers now? lol

its easy to lvl now. they have lots of starter items to help you lvl fast. i just started playing again too. :))) but the hardest part is bout getting buffs. XD

For me, it seems like gearing is getting hard again, money seems to stay the same level of hardness and yeah, buffs are majorly hard to get now :( So far im lvl 18 (which im using the 20% exp thing, getting to lvl 30 wasnt ever to hard I thought) and only have half geared and no money to buy anything worth it, but iv always had a hard time was gear, gearing has always been an issue and then or at the same time its the money.

Im lvl 18 Giant, im going 4 str every level except every 5th level (5, 10, 15 etc) and on those levels i got 2/2 vit/dex.

So if anyone here has any info on gearing, SHARE PLEASE!

Come play on one of the older servers, they all merg into 1 now called ~ Jainus. And at times it seems pretty barren (people semi afk and what not) but I do still see ppls looking for parties in party matching or lowbies trolling Lime.

Yeap and if you make a char on one of the old severs (Jainus), Ill give ya some crones to start you off. I know what its like to return and have to start from scratch. Can be tough.

Am having some issues being able to log in game atm (seems to be some kind of bug after maintenance). And I rly gotta go out for now. Will be back in an hour or 2. Will try to jump in game then and help you out if your around on Jainus.

You can try to delete game guard folder if you are having disconnection issue or re-patch your loader.exe in your game folder not the shortcut icon to fix the issue.

Well, I decided to make a trinity and that was interesting concept, I love how fast they can level up till you get done with the beginning stuff, but for the last 25 minutes, iv been trying to get a question asked at limestone, but no one would even acknowledge me, all I ever saw was "buff me" spam, but what do I do once I have that green bar filled to 1000? And I went to the dark side, now now im wondering, what to do with her, I take it as it basically said, she doesn't use weapons... she already has it permanently, but I still didn't get on how to make it stronger, and I basically cant melee with her like I thought... still have to use the one magic skill from the start... also, does anyone know the best way to make her stats go? and skills?

Yea Lime can be a little chaotic at times and if your a newbie people do tend to look you over. Keep doing what your doing here by asking questions at the forums. imo its the best way to get help and questions answered. Someones bound to come along and assist you.

So I'm going to assume since you mentioned "dark side" that you choose to make a Noir?
Let me start by saying that that "green bar" is whats called "Trinity points". You gain these points by hitting mobs and or people in order to be able to use your skills and buffs. Some skills will take away the Trinity points and so you need to gain them back again as you go along. Your Noir should be a str class, meaning add Str to her stat points and as for skills, Im not really 100% sure of the distribution as I play a Rumir. But with that being said, I can prolly grab some suggestions from some one in my guild for you.

As for the Trinity weps, that can be a little complex, but you were right in saying that your char will keep the same wep as she began with. Only it will "lvl up" and "evolve" over time. You can do this by using these two guides (See links).

One more thing incase you dont alrdy know. There is a "Main Quest" line in the trinity home town that gives some great rewards and very good exp which will help to lvl your trinity alot faster. I cant stress enough to you to do that quest line (You will need help with some of it as alot of the quest involve killing bosses, but I'm sure help can be found). And also there is a "newbie helper" once you reach a certain lvl at GH (Gathering Hall) and then there are also rewards you will receive from the npc at Lime (Cant remember the exact lvls that these rewards start, but be sure to keep a look out for them. They help alot in low lvls)

Main Story Quests are lvls65, 70, 75, ... every 5 lvls but you can take them 5 lvls before.
Lime quests are 55, 60, 65, ... every 5 lvls to.

As a Noir player i suggest making your Aoe Thorns Whip lvl7 as your first one. Its a positive AOE that adds damage to surrounding enemies while savage Aoe is neutral and all others are negative. Pentagram of Light is meh, at low lvls good but once you're start hitting higher mobs you'll need higher str to actually do damage with this skill and its base damage comes from magic atk. If you don't have upgd boss drops with all stat and atk you don't need this skill at higher lvls.
The rest of the skills are as follow:
Mar tree, just keep Pentagram of Light as a pve skill, Tune of Life and Dormant Power. Darkness Calling (Magic atk based skill) and Vine of Light (like Elf Net bind) are just useless for Noirs.
Completely max all Noirs tree skills except IMO Windy Chain and PVE speaking don't add your right side PVP Claw based skills. They will eat your TP(trinity points) while lvling and your Thorn Whip will expire. Save those points while lvling for Dormant power it will boost your HP and MP depending on how much SP (skill points) you have unused.

Solo on R1-R3 there you'll be able to lvl your trinity with no problem. GL

sir how about after that, the main quest in R3 and R4?, I've completed the quest in R3 but I cant find Aiden a NPC in r4. Was it was a bug or something, because I can't find any NPC in R4, I have already explored the whole r4 map
